Would it be alright to make an new WRS Series for GT4 please?

I'll make this simple. YES! It doesn't have to be as complez as the old one, in fact, I was planning something similar, just in the Lap Time Comparison board.

Though I would like to see the standards of the WRS rules kept intact.

Smallhorses, I don't think that anyone will participate if replays are required. Almost everyone who has a Max drive has either moved on to GT5P or is lurking until the release of GT5, so while we can certainly maintain the spirit of the rules, we cannot maintain that particular stipulation. SVX, there will not be another WRS, per se, because, as an officially sanctioned competition of GTP, there can only be one at a time, and it will be held in GT5P until GT5's release. That said, I would love to see a weekly competition, preferably with race-selection duties split among many people, although I think that short race series can be a perfectly acceptable substitute.

I agree with the replay bit, but I was thinking in terms of defining cleanliness such as 2 tyres on track/rumble strip at all time, no contact permitted and clear definitions of which disputed parts of tracks are in play at any time e.g. red tarmac @ Sarthe or concrete areas @ Deep Forest.

Oh, I see what you mean. I assumed that those rules would be universally used, but I suppose that this fiasco indicates that not everyone takes those rules as the gold standard.

SVX, I think this would really be much better with people sharing the duties of race selection. And yes, that's people - using the randomizer seems like a terrible idea to me. There will be quite a lot of times when cars are completely mismatched to tracks - I can easily envision finding a Kei car at La Sarthe or a Group C car at Beginner Course - but more importantly, there will be far too many cars that are alike and not very interesting; all too often, we would find ourselves having to race Skylines, NSXes, and RX-7s. Those are certainly not bad cars to race, but they would appear every few weeks and would quickly become tiresome. So discretion is the key to making interesting combos, and for discretion to be a positive force, the person making the decisions has to have experience. Frankly, I don't think you've been doing time trials in GT4 for long enough to reliably create interesting and enjoyable races, so I would really prefer that you not proceed into this endeavor so recklessly and without guidance.

True.But I also look at the combo.I have made a Series,like the WRS,so should I ask someone to close it?
