I saw some of the forums have this kind of section. It's for new forum members to post and learn how to get used on that forum or to introduce themselves:idea:.
So, can anyone consider about my idea?

A site-wide sticky with the ideas Nicksfix just posted would be very useful for noobs, Scaff already has one in the GT5P section i believe.

Hihihi, I know you can, Jordan. Be cause my bestfriend of mine considered about join our Planet (as soon as 21st or after Christmas), but he's kinda afraid coz he's never been in any forum before even though he writes English very well. So I came up with this thread.

The only way to learn is by doing it. Plus, it's not that hard. You really only need two things to survive here.
1) Common Sense
2) General understanding of the English language.

You stated he has the second thing, so if he has the first he will be just fine.

Yeah. And he's, like me, is not a native english speaker, but we've got better in common sence by some 'rojak' language (it means a conversation when two languages are used in a sentence, it's pretty common around our life), and heavily use of internet to use Myspace, Facebook or read games' news.

(And thanks to everyone in every corner of GTP. For making me reached post #100 right now. I'm so happy that my abandoned custom avatar I've created 3 months ago finally are able to use.)

Ok, I accept your 'cool smiley'. Maybe yer getting used of giving reminder about AUP in some sort of...duplicate/useless threads out there.

Yes, welcome to GTPlanet! Just so you know, spammers used to create accounts on our forum, and then abuse our private messaging system to send unsolicited advertisements to our users. By forcing all new users to post (and have that post approved by our moderators) first, it helps us prevent this from happening.

I'm not sure I understand your question, as it has never existed before. Perhaps you're confused by the older threads in the forum? I found them in the Rumble Strip and moved them there, to give people a bit of inspiration.

I think he is indeed confused by the older threads in the forum, as they do give the impression that the forum existed before, even though of course it didn't. I too thought this until I realised that the old threads were originally posted in the rumble strip and had simply been moved into the introductions section. I only noticed that when I realised I had posted in most of them.

I think he is confused because the 4th subforum, Ask GTPlanet was removed and replaced with this, thats what confused me.

Hihi Yeah everyone was right, I am confused. Especially by the 'illusion' of subforum changes in 'The Rumble strip' forum that Legendary had told just now.
