It's the Scumbag Steve of Minis.

PD hasn't given us any cars in a while, so I suspect that there may be a larger number than usual ahead, maybe 10, 12 cars? I'm still counting the Acura NSX in, and maybe it's Nissan counterpart: the Infiniti Emerg-e Concept

I'm hoping for the new Viper:

While were at Dodge, why not make the Dart

And maybe The FF or F12 Berlinetta. ZL1 and GT500 also expected in my book. And that LFA Race Car looked pretty cool too.

Would cry in happiness if PD finally releases the GT4/PSP track pack as DLC and event creator in the update. Seriously. And DON'T say I'm "dreamy and wishing," I'm SAYING. :grumpy:

I'd also be really happy with an editor that lets you place and move comes on any track. Imagine how happy everyone would be with something so simple!

I'm thinking it's going to be silverstone and a German track (probably hockenheim) and some German cars with some lame Asian cars

*off topic but I think a real point*

Some guys say it's a driving simulator and defend them putting in the slow hybrid and electric cars... Last time I checked there's no roads in the game, only tracks. I personally think that a driving simulator is when you drive road cars on roads, not tracks. I believe gt5 is a "racing" simulator as it only has tracks, yes some are street courses but none are a to b roads.

Sorry rant over!

Then why not you write "racing" over "driving" with a permanent marker on your case cover. There, problem solved. :trouble:

I can kinda see where you are coming from, but driving in its purest form is always going to be on a track, rather than driving to Wal Mart and stopping/starting at lights. I think you are defining "driving" as necessarily on a public road from A to B, but whilst it covers that, it also covers racing, time trials, testing, drifting, drag racing etc etc. Many of those aren't specific to performance cars, but all are "driving".

Hence GT5 is a driving simulator, not a racing game/sim (it is that too, but not only that)

Anyway that said, and slightly back on topic, I would like to see more point-to-point courses, especially hillclimbs, although it's not at the top of my DLC wishlist :)

Madmupp..

Did you just get done with top gear, (BBC) Those first three or four popped into mind.

I want, The Audi R-18 Ultra, or the R-18 e-Tron Quattro (yes, a 4-wheel drive LMP)

I said a few weeks ago that they (PD) should focus on the companies that have little in the Prem. dealership... and what do we get, a revamped jag, Vantage V12, and the adventadore.

Now, you may think that adding the new R-18 will be to fast, they did do the adventadore correct?? ya, so there is no stomping that down.

An update of the 908, since Peugeot is not in the 24hrs of Le Mans (Here we go with the new Toyo)

and if we dont get those, we Will get a Japanese car... most likely the TS030... What i want is the April 4th update that never came out. in that i want this option:

To be able to change tire wear from Pre- And Post- 2.00 update (whatever the number was). it kills me that i cant get a whole stint at Le Mans WHILE BABYING THE THROTTLE. the max with racing med in front and hard in back with the R10 is 5 laps, a stint is around 12 laps.... and guess what, in 2008, they QUADRUPPLE STINTED in the race!! serioulsy, if Kazurini is a real driver, why cant he just say "hmmm i wonder why i cant get around nurburging in the same car as i race in real life with a set of tires, i should probably change this" ?????? REALLY YOU THINK.

I am not trying to turn this into a rage forum/ thread, but action should be taken. THEY ARE GETTING PAID WHILE WE WANT THE GAME TO BE IMPROVED TO BENEFIT NOT JUST US BUT THEM TOO!!

im done.. ;)

I assume KY knows the tire wear is horrible, how can he not know? I think they wanted pit stops and tire management to play a role in online racing to make it more interesting. And since the large majority of races are less than one hour, and most are much shorter than that, I think they shortened tire wear so it can play a part of those races. Not saying it's right, it's not, but that's my thought on why they did it.

Since all the "good" guesses are taken, I'm gonna go ahead and guess that the next DLC will have:

  1. Racing gear (helmets, fire suits and/or the full outfits of some real-life race drivers)
  2. Twin Ring Motegi

So what? They missed March, this is classic PD not being able to follow their deadlines, but it doesn't mean DLC for GT5 is done. Now if this month comes and goes without it, I'd be more incline to think that way, but you guys are jumping the gun a bit. I agree PD should follow the deadline they set, but then again they have the choice to do so otherwise.
