Next DLC (May/June...aaargh!) whats it gonna be?

I'm surprised no one has mentioned the shake-up at Sony as a possibility of delay. Granted that news only broke yesterday. Basic details are Sony is getting rid of 10,000 jobs. Now that may or may not affect PD, but PD is a subsidiary of Sony.

Here's hoping for the best.

I can't wait for the title of this thread to change to "Next DLC (May/June) whats it gonna be? "

I don't know why, but I'm especially disappointed with the lack of ANY news coming out of PD or Kaz.

Well, I bet the 150 working on PD will not be fired because by the numbers PD is a profitable division. Perhaps one of the only parts of Sony that makes some money.

Same here. I'm happy that I'm trying some other games I haven't before such as Saints Row: The Third. All the fun and stupidity on that awesome sandbox game (customization too) is keeping me sane in these days without news.

Polyphony Digital will be unaffected by Sony shedding 10,000 or 6% of it's employees. PD are one of Sony Computer Entertainment's most profitable studios despite releasing a game about as often as we see Halley's Comet. In fact, let us not forget that PD opened a new studio some months back. PD and Naughty Dog are two studios that can sleep easy.

I'll put money on an announcement in the next ~2 weeks or so. :)

I'll put 100 GTP dollars down that you are correct. With rumors of GT Academy starting around May 1st they need to announce something soon.

I'm just waiting for announcement of DLC to buy a psn card and get the last car pack and the new track and car pack HOPEFULLY

In the next DLC we are going to see at least one Nissan...if not...i´ll pay a pizza for everyone here.(for each) Pepperoni anyone?:dopey:

I think they will premium a standard car possibly a supra, a gtr of some sort a high end car like a Lamborghini or farrari possible a suv o some sort.

With all the delay, this DLC better have a lot to it. Like say, the new NSX, four other cars and a track or two...

Would be nice...

Sadly these are the only cars that Kaz would instantly approve of :(.

lol i'm nissan fan but my life is not all about nissan's , other cars should be there gran turismo 5 needs alot of supercars just like the picture i showed there .

I think we need some more muscle cars. A lot of the best ones were missed out on, old and new.

Such as? The only thing I see missing is the fact that most are standard.

As far as new cars go. The one I see missing is Ford. A more up to date Mustang is missing, the GT500 maybe even the Roush version.

The ZL-1 just got released and even though I'm critical of PD, I'm also rational and know that it wouldn't be possible to get it yet. The SRT8 Charger is missing as well.

As far as old go, we have the big Mopar cars, Ford once again is the manufacture given the least in the old cars. Chevy probably has the most when it comes to the older muscle cars.

I've been driving most of them cars in Forza 4 for about 6 months now :)

I have to admit, I'm a little thrown by all the time that has elapsed since last update.

I do have my predictions:
- There is HIGH probability that the new NSX will be DLC. Remember it's already modeled and was featured in a video demo.
- Some Nissan is practically guaranteed.
- New track(s) is probable also. What track(s), this is totally up in the air.
- Pagani Huayra as DLC ... I wouldn't exactly hold my breath.
- Porsche (any) ... hahahahaha (I couldn't help it, but it would be a face saving move for PD and GT5 if they got Porsche).

And speaking of Porsche, PD should really make a strong push for this. I don't know all the legalities behind Turn10 now being able to put them in FM4 now, but Sony should definitely send down some negotiating muscle to PD for this. I feel like with Porsche, Koenigsegg, and just a few more, maybe 10, 2010-13 coveted cars (we're talking Lotus Exige, Audi TT-RS, and '13 Ford Mustang GT500 here not Miata "Some Special Edition" and Nissan Leaf GT), along with 3 more key tracks could really save face for GT5 and put some money back into Sony's pocket.
