Yeah, I'm not sure if Cadillac's intentions are more apt to competing with Audi or BMW this time, as either choise will require a bit of work from where they are right now. A case for Audi seems more apt, as GM can't outperform BMW quite yet. Mercedes and Audi? Sure. But as of right now, the 3-series is just too good. Of course, GM has surprised us all before... If they sweeten up the 3.6L V6 with direct-injection, match it with a 6L80E automatic or the Tremec T-56, it could be one hell of a sport sedan.
