I dont think its dead but I think they will try to make updates inline with GT Sport. So its in a dead zone until then.

If GT6 wasn't dead, I'm pretty sure we would've seen at least another significant update. It's been 4 months now.

I think we have one more update coming. But I don't think it's gonna be anything super special. maybe a bug fix or two, and possibly the Hyundai Vision Gran Turismo.

I think GT6 is done with, no more unless they are going to do 2.0 next hopefully with 50 new cars or evolutions of current racecars.

They were done adding new, unannounced content and features a long time ago. The only additions in the last year have been the long awaited course maker and VGT cars, and even they got very sparse.

Correct me if I'm wrong but the last previously unknown car or track was the Nissan LMP in June 2015, and the last new feature was I think paintable wings? A year ago?

I agree with the others that the only updates you're likely to see now are urgent bug fixes and then the update that removes online, whenever that may come. Certainly no big Spec 2.0 update full of new features is coming as some were certain was going to happen.

GT6 won't be developed any more. It is done. All attention is now on Sport.

The next test is to see for how long PDI supports GT6 on-line. They need to keep it alive while the PS3 is still on-line.

It seems they are also neglecting the servers for on line racing in the community area. For the last 3 Saturday mornings our racing event has been destroyed because of racers being randomly kicked out. On one we started with 11 cars and 5 laps into the race there were only 3 left. The last lap found just two remaining.

My opinion: GT6 is basically finished. All of the features are released. I'm hoping for a few more VGTs, but only time will tell once GTS is released if they opt to feature them in GT6. I'm doubtful since PD will likely want people to buy GTS. My only question is how long the online servers for GT6 will last. My guess is the end of 2016.

The one thing I would like to see is an offline version of all the seasonal events, and the leaderboard that went with them.

There have been some great events

I guess they're going to release a Spec 2 update with the VGT cars we've been promised and (hopefully) some new cars/tracks/features. But PD works so slooooooowly so it isn't certain

They could at least release an update with one or two more VGT cars IMO. Either that or remove all those Godforsaken empty slots and stop trying to fool people.

Mind you, I still love GT6.

Yeah, IMO PD is done with GT6, Ive given up on seeing anymore GT Vision cars, and even with the seasonal updates the least they can do is have the cars you win perhaps from an earlier version of GT. Not much to shoot for when your credits are maxed and the car prize is a car you have 2 or 3 of already. Guess I should start saving for a PS4

Not a chance. Like, 0% chance of that happening.
