Tell us your best pursuit in NFS Carbon. I was soo bored today so i did a really long pursuit on that challenge called"Pursuit Pinball". The pursuit went for about 50 mins and i had over 2,000,000 CTS, over 200,000 bounty (this pursuit is like a heat 1 pursuit but a bit harder) and i totalled about 410 cop cars.:sick: :dunce: :sly:
 
I just tried the demo(yeah right... demo) on the 360 and I laughed...

EA please... for the love of god. STOP. Stick to BF or something better yet. Make BF so it's actually playable. :rolleyes:
 
EA with your level of budget i expected a good soundtrack, not the chavish deliquencies of "Lady sovereign".

fix the music cos it sucks on Carbon. :sick:

mmmm your right. I think they should bring back the NFS:U style music, like andy hunter, overseer and stuff like that.

EA, Ditch the 'underground' style.

EA, Re-invest in the game with exclusive, well-loved and classic sports/super cars such as the Diablo, Countach, 355, DB7, Maranello, NSX, HSV, Corvette, 911, McLaren, CLK-GTR, XJR-11, and F50. As well as new-comers such as the DB9, F430, Gallardo, 997 911, M5, R8, XK-R and the 8c Competizione.

EA, Create realistic races set across the globe where people can enjoy the sights of Mountains, lakes and roads.


"You guys once created roads across beautiful landscapes, and the one thing gamers here want back is the freedom to travel those roads spread across the globe... not to be restricted to a dark, repetitve and monotonous city."

i remember hot pusruit or hot pursuit 2...those games where beautifull!!!

I really hope the next NFS wont have any of this underground S*** in it! I'm really pissed off concerny ea and its NFS games now a days :grumpy:
 
no i cant agree with that. the old NFS were good, but the worlds view on cars have changes thus EA must change their look to suit the world.

yes it was quite nice that the cars were stock and you got a real sense of "proper driving experience" but i found i got bored of those games quickly beacuse there was no....personisation, no real choices to make, just picking a car and picking a track to race on was boring.

i prefer the new style its much more varied :) but still Carbon was a let down
 
I say, if EA cant do a good enough job, then sell NFS to Ubi or better still Microsoft game studios (they dont rush games out they take the time to make really good games).Is it me or dont EA bother with NFS anymore and just say "oh...just put a dark city and some honda civics and release it so we can make $$$". I just wish the next NFS will be back to its roots.As much as i love carbon i would still rather play with Lambos that arent riced and drive through the beautiful countryside IN THE DAYTIME!!! PLEASE EA!!!:bowdown:
 
one problem i see is that the whole street racing/modding concept is pretty much ruled by EA. all other modding games...Juiced, possibly Midnight Club, none of them could really outshine the new NFS series. not saying that Midnight Club is bad though, its a brilliant game. :)

but yeah the market for classic NFS racing is too "saturated", is thats not too complicated. aheh. Project Gotham, Gran Turismo, and the new Test Drive Unlimited all cover that field. :indiff:
 
Fix these now EA!! Otherwise, you just lost a customer for life!!(Even though EA will never see this thread unless we send them it)

1. No 900 degree steering
2. Autobrakes ~20mph, turn them off!!
3. Only 5 cars in Career, MW had 10 plus Pink Slips..
4. Career mode is too short, make it longer.
5. All the tire spin off the line, even on a stock AWD STi... I mean come-on, its AWD!!
 
Carbon sucked, I beat it in 7 hours. 👎. NFS11 better blow me away or EA will lose (surprise, surprise) another customer.
 
EA, if you're going to make these 'Underground' games, then
a) make them ****ing playable, at least
b) also make a hot-pursuit style purist game.

Personally, I think the NFS games are decent. Not as good as the old ones, but they're not exactly trash. They're like the movies Harrison Ford has been in. His earlier ones (Star Wars and Indy Jones anyone?) are classics, but now the ones he's in nowadays are made for the sake of entertainment. They won't win awards, and they won't make people rush out to buy copies of them, but they're still decent entertainment.

Personally, I think the NFS games are decent. Not as good as the old ones, but they're not exactly trash. They're like the movies Harrison Ford has been in. If you find excessive repetativeness entertainment (not referring to Harrison Ford) then I see why you like NFS.

I also see why EA did with underground, they wanted to test the waters of tuner-cars, it worked out pretty good for them but they savagedly failed when they tried to follow up with underground 2. Then, with Most Wanted, they tried to combine old-school exotics vs. cops and mix it in with tuners. Carbon however, was an absolute joke and EA made a big deal about autosculpt rather than making a big deal about the game. Hopefully the rumors about NFS11 going the direction of TDU will be true.

have a look at NFS:Porsche.
That game was so amazing!!! It even got cockpit view!-that game was released in 2000, and now, 7 years later we still have no cockpit view in the nfs games.

ea, you dissapoint me :indiff:

The cockpit view is only on the computer version, because I have it for PS1, and no cockpit view.
 
Face it, EA won't fix Carbon, they'll release NFS 11 first. And apparently it'll be more realistic.

And all this EA bashing is so overdone. If you hate the games so much, why do you guys fall hook, line and sinker for them year after year?
 
good point. ive just finished the challenge series and i got no reward, but ive come to accept the screw ups in Carbon.

im just gonna hope EA do better next time instead of dwelling on the past problems now.

True but looking at ND4SPD's video he found (if its legit), it may be comming back to its good old roots again. Hopefully that is.....

Wonder how many people on this thread have actually bought a copy of Carbon...
