Ok, I'm new here, so sorry if this has been posted already or if it's in the wrong area.

I'm thinking of buying NFS:S tomorrow since GT5 isn't coming out for another 5/6 months..But does anyone know how good/bad the online racing is? I tend to only buy games for online racing.

Edit: Basically, I want something to keep me interested until MW2 and then until GT5..I was thinking about GT5:P but I figured no one would be playing that online anymore :/.

Depends where you live for GT5:P because a lot of people still play GT5:P and will be till GT5 comes out.

NFS Online is not too bad. You can create your own lobbies so you can have only the people you want to race. That's always a plus. No lag whatsoever. I think it's a good buy.

Hope this helps. 👍

Go checkout the GTP online race series, Your welcome to jump in as long as your a clean racer, regular race meetups with members most nights. Prety much as full an online race experience as you want to put into it.

I live in the UK, so not sure about that :/.

How many people can you get in a game at anyone time too?

UK is better. PAL has more players than NTSC(North America).

You'll be sure to find some good races in GT5:P

The racing is a lot closer in GT5P, but there is a large amount of lag. Although Shift has barely any lag if not none the racing is no where near as close as but still enjoyable. There is also a wider variety of online racing in Shift such as the basic racing, but you also have time attacks and drifts.
