So I didn't miss anything! Great. I've been practicing at Willow for a bit now, seeing how much i can push the GT2

This is his first race but there was no one in his class so they stuck him w/ 100cc karts and they just drove away from him :-( , but that was Ok because he got the biggest partisipation trophy I've ever seen, even though it was 1st.......lol

I only did a couple runs, but my GT2 is in the 1:19's right now. I'm sure I can knock a couple seconds off of it- I did 59's at the other willow with the Scirocco, that car isn't very fast around there though. Not sure about the other tracks just yet.

EDIT- just practiced a little more and hi the 1:17's with the GT2. Track is fun, fast and sweeping.

Well - I remember at some point I finished 3rd and that felt good !

A podium is always a podium as long as there's more than 3 racers ! LOL :)
 
You finished 3rd in the first race.
 
There were good races tonight! The 2nd or the 4th place was my goal on the 2nd race, I didn't want to go with my own car again. It was very bad on that track.👎 Add was far, so I stayed in 4th place. On the last one, I lost my concentration. In the last lap I wanted to go a fast lap, but I died.:ouch: Videos are coming later.
 
Sometimes these races seem like a luck of the draw. If you start up front and can keep a decent pace, even if it's not the fastest, you can usually win or come 2nd. I wish there was qualifying for these races. It would make for a better starting grid, then again if the usual suspects are present then it might not even be fair. Unless we had reverse grids! Shift is still pretty fun at times, but man that 370Z race was WEIRD!
 
What happened in the 370z race?
 
Cars were disappearing and reappearing like they were 'ghost cars' it was definitely crazy. I was behind Shark till the last lap watching his car go in and out of the screen. It was scary.

FYI: In this race, "akmuq" was supose to stay w/ the Seat Leon not the car he ended up driving, that is if "octaine" wasn't in the first race and their were only 5 cars, "magicaldog" was supose to declare when asked what car he drove - I ended up driving the wrong car :crazy:

For what it's worth, and I don't know if it's in the rules for racing, but if the leaders are laping someone would they please in the future move over so they don't impede the persute. In the words of Austin Powers "it's just not cricket" :lol:

But please talk in GMT time LOL. If I'm right 8PM UK time is the ussual 7PM GMT (19:00), so there is no change in the start time..

Am I right?

(do we have to find out the numbers of the laps?)

Will anybody play tomorrow?

I would really like to race with you guys, but I find it very hard to understand your set up and I don't see any starting times. last week I was just lucky enough to get online to see that I was invited to join the chat room and that there was racing going on. Do you always race at the same time 8:00gmt time? If some one would help that would be great. Thanks
