Hey guys,

I know approximately three people are playing Shift right now but maybe some of you used to play it and may be able to help me.

I've just bought the Zonda R and I'm now doing a tier 4 race which is 5 laps of the Dakota Tri-Oval against other supercars. So far, I've been unable to win because at seemingly random points in the race I'll hit what appears to be a bump and go skipping off into the wall, I lose all control and can do nothing but watch as I drop back at least three places. Is there anything I can do to stop this from happening? I'm wondering if I can increase the ride height and downforce or something because unless the track really does have hidden bumps or the physics engine just can't keep up, the Zonda shouldn't be doing that... Surely?

Cheers!

What platform are you playing on? It might help to narrow down the possibilities a bit... On the PS3 version, I remember "pot holes" from hell on one of the London tracks, as well as Dakota.

Have a good one

Shift 1 / Dakota Tri-Oval / Koenigsegg CCX is the King !!!

This car can handle bumps and Veyrons in this track. So if you want to win this race really easy then just swap your Zonda R for CCX. Only help i can give refreshing my memory about that game. 👍

Reduce your speed on Turn 3 (the bumpy one.) Lift off/brake a little before hitting the apex, coast through at middling speed, then jump back on the throttle.

You lose a LOT of distance if you're bumping along, and as a result, taking the turn really wide.
