the NFS U demo been out for a long time (check title),

The NFS U 2 demo has come out though, I downloaded and played it, it has more 'ricey' elements in it like sound systems, engine neons etc but its is a more fun game to play to fool around with.

Now you actually drive around the citys and go to your garage, part shops or even burger king. The drift tracks are like mountain roads with other traffic.

I will rent this game for fun but I dont think I will buy it.

Oh,wow.I actually like this game now.Looks nice,lots of colours.I like the whole huge city feeling.The car sounds are also improved.I think i'll buy this game.It's lots of fun.

Yeah I forgot to meantion the car sounds have improved heaps, I like holding it in neutral on rev limiter then putting in 1st, sounds pretty good.

There's online mode available in the demo
I tried .... it seems EA still haven't fixed the online problem
dunno it's lagging or server sucks
but why burnout 3 online is doing good, but while NFSU2 can't??
btw .... it's fun to drift on mountain road, but not with stupid traffic

You know, you can turn the traffic off, I did.

I'll probably get it. It should serve for a weak, but still, substitute for GT4 over christmas. Played NFSU w keyboard but now I hooked up my ds2 to the PC. Much more fun.

Has anyone else had trouble starting the Demo ?... It runs on my stupid laptop but not on my main rig. It never starts - it just pops up with the "need4speed.exe has performed an illegal operation etc. etc. etc."..

Both are running XP SP2 UK with all patches, both have some sort of GeForce GFX card...

To tell the truth, I actually forgot about some of the rciey elements after messing around with the new modification options and seeing the new cars.

It's pretty d**m good.
