Gt5 nhra class rules:

Top fuel: Cars in this class must be able to do 6 second in the quarter mile and 10 seconds on the half mile and 13 seconds on the mile anything slower or faster than this you will be moved down a class and suspended for 1 month or 3 weeks from any races in this class.

Suspended list:

Funny car: Cars in this class must be a 10 second car in the quarter mile a 10 second in the half and a 10 on the mile and also anything slower or faster than this you will again be moved down a class and suspended from all races in this class for 1 month or 3 weeks.

Suspended list:

Pro stock: The cars in this class must be completely stock if you are suspected of having a mod on your car the host will set the room settings to no tuning and if you are caught cheating you will be suspended for 1 month or 3 week and not allowed to race in any class until the week is up

suspended list:

I am going by the 3 strikes your out rule if you get caught cheating or lieing in any class 3 times you will not be allowed to race in this at anytime ever again for 3 month then your strikes will reset.

You can use these rules in any room and then notify me how the room went and if anyone cheated or did not follow the rules in one of the classes please notify me there psn name and what class it was and i will put them down for the suspension for the class and the strikes list also if someone suspended trys to join the room with the class they are suspended from they will be automaticly given the 3 strikes.

If you think any of the class time intervels are wrong or should be changed please notify me and i will do some testing and change it accordingly.

If this gets enough intrest in 2 months i will turn one of the classes into a series and see how it goes.

I'm sorry, but the fastest car in GT5 does 6 second quarter miles.

As far as I know the Veyron is the 2nd quickest in the quarter running low 8's, but due to everyone's tunes tipping out shortly after the 1/4 mile marker the 1 mile times will be into the 20 range. Doing away with the 1/2 and full mile would partly solve that, I'd just ban the redbull and create a bracket between 8.0 - 8.60 seconds for Veyrons, escudos, fgt's and whatever else runs those times.

Policing will be difficult too

I wanted to make a drag racing series kinda like the NHRA and I figured I would start with a plan then if it goes well I'm gonna make a few tracks for drag racing and I'm gonna use indy road special stage route 7 with the tunnel so this is just a idea that people can use and I can use and then tell me how many people showed up and how it went
 
People pretty much drag race like this already, just without the rules/restrictions. People know typically what cars run good together already and different people use different tracks. So... for most people, you are organizing something that most consider organized already.

Kinda I made it more organized by having different classes and if everyone hateing on this knew me better they would say this was the most well put toghether thing by me they have ever seen

Problem is we already have an organised system in one of the stickies, it may need a slight update but the classes are close enough.

This thread won't make a change to online rooms, sorry man.
