I love the New seasonal, Bravo PD. I own a 04' Dodge ram Hemi in RL and to be able to run my digital version is awesome.

Next I am gonna buy a Ford F150 SVT and run that. Great racing!!

Bring back the original seasonals with big rewards, minimal modifcations, and an actual challenge where winning came down to actually learning to tune your car and not just mod the crap out of it, to win garbage.

It's not always about racing the fastest friggin' car on the planet. People race all kinds of things. It doesn't have to be > 800bhp and < 900kg to be worth driving. No one complains about having Karts in GT5 but they only top out at like 80 mph.

I don't happen to like the K cars but there are hundreds of them and bunches of events.

You didn't acknowledge horrible handling.... speed isn't just power or straightaway speed. Speed in a corner is different, handling and control is different. K cars can be fun, pickup trucks suck on a paved track. Whatever...

I didn't say top speed only. Yes I know Trucks aren't the best handling vehicles (nor the fastest) but that's the point I was trying to make. You don't necessarily need to drive the best thing there is all the time. Maybe you don't like trucks, fine, that doesn't mean they can't (or shouldn't) be raced.

I had fun with the truck ones, with the Ford that I had not driven for a long time.

Now, I need to re-try them with what the kids call the pizza truck. Will need some big time upgrades I'm guessing 💡 Even more fun!

Also found a race in the FR challenge that I had not done, that too was good. Got to check them all now.

The thing that irks me the most is that they decide which trucks you can use? Why can't I use my rally raid trucks? Why can't I use a stormer concept etc.

We already HAD a race for trucks, and it sort of sucked. I like the fact that they've added new races... but what's the deal with all of this governing? Just say its a truck race and let us race any damn truck we want?

I mean I could've simply gone BACK to do the A-spec races for trucks?

Ran the 'Ring with a bog X Runner and couldn't quite make 1st (2nd twice)

Oiled the thing up but this didn't help - I think the eventual winner (another X Runner usually) just gets too good a start. Maybe before he was starting further down the grid, I just didn't notice.

Just a shame you can't use SUVs.

Wish there was a premium truck to trick out, also.

Still, wasn't expecting anything, so fair play.

Also a big thumbs down to all the whiners ... you know who you are.

X Runner, keep it at stock everything but tune the engine to about 480bhp, so your PP is ~470. And run the 'Ring. There is no way you can't find this fun...

That said, I'm glad there is some new content with decent pay-outs but I would've done a MR series, a sport sedan series (considering the game has the RS4, E55, M5, Lotus Carlton, etc.), or maybe a 500-550PP FR series before more pickup truck races.

Put it on 5 tracks the they weren't on in the first place.
One track must be a reverse from the normal direction
One track must be a Kart track.

Just ran the ring in my Midget. Was the funniest thing I've ever done so far in GT5.

I completely maxed it out, think it has 430PP. Thinking of getting RH or RM tires and trying again. Finished in 11th place lol. 9'02" lap time. Made it up to 6th place and was in a big group of trucks that if I made it past could have been in 4th.

Unfortunately the back stretch is brutal and I was in last place by the time that was over with. Oh yeah and having full size trucks ram into you on the back stretch to pass kind of sends this little guy flying all over the place, but it is a nice 15mph speed increase lol. Gotta figure out how to make this thing stop losing so much speed on the uphills. Went from 100-85 on one of the sections just because of the uphill.

Greatest thing about this little truck is that my first attempt I rolled it over on the first turn out of the start because I figured I needed to push it so I didn't brake. Was hilarious watching this thing flip over and over.

Not trying to offend anyone but it has nothing to do with loving trucks to not. Trucks are primarily for off-roading or hauling stuff. There are so many other areas the developers could have gone.
But to each their own... I will just avoid the truck stuff - silly to me.

Sounds about right just make sure one of those tracks is Tsukuba and your good to go.

I'm loving these seasonals. Getting paid 110,000 Cr to do a lap of the Nordschleife is great stuff. I must've done that race at least ten times already in my various trucks.

I haven't done it quite that much but I agree wholeheartedly generally. Every seasonal should have 1 event with a minimum of 1 lap on a variation of the 'ring that include the Nordschleife for a minimun of 100k. Eventually I'd like to think it would mean I had stayed on the track on the approach to Kallenhard in almost every available class/niche/car!

Specific to the current events. the trucks are surprisingly fun; easy to spot your lines, trickier to overcome the lack of built in racing ability and bag a good time.
