I was doing a few laps of Rome Night and thought that it really isn't that dark to call it night so I turned the brightness down on the telly until the light on the road from the street lights went a darkish yellow and it was really realistic. The headlamps on the cars weren't effective but it gave a great Le Mans feel to it.
 
Hey, that's a great idea.  Actually, if you race on the track long enough, I noticed that the sky actually lightens a bit.  Was I just seeing things?  Did this happen to anyone else?
 
It actually didn't take that long, only about 20-30 laps or so.
 
You can slide around there.  You can take the chicane after the sort downhill section at around 95 mph or more.
 
I know the part you're talking about.  That's FAST!  What car did you get to slide like that through there?
 
Mispoke a bit, not sure about the sliding part, but i meant the track in general. Car: ruf ctr 2 sport + or - 10 mph. I'll work on the game soon enough. Probably see how i do with the cusco subaru.

The speed is entry speed upon entering the corner, exit is a bit slower.
 
Oh, OK.  Also try out the GT40 on that track while you're at it.  I had a lot of fun with the car there.
 
Entry/exit

GT40: 125/87

Cusco Subaru: 121/95

Entry speed is the velocity of the vehicle after braking has fully ceased just before turning into the chicane.

This is gonna sound kinda dumb, but that's just the way I am. I don't even brake at that turn, I keep accelarating, hit the wall and when the car spins, I counter steer and keep going, it saves me time if I do it right.
 
Yeah, powersliding can save you time like that, but you have to get it just right, or can end up screwing up the rest of your lap.
 
I don't mean powersliding either, I justgo right into the wall and when it hits the wall, the car wants to spin out so I counter steer and continue racing. I have learned to drift on street races though, that's what my hybrids are good for.
 
Its much easier to put on crappy or (hard tires) Those will slip easy but wont have a nice amount of grip to get around sharp turns without spinning out of control.

I don't like analog to much. I suck when I use analog, I woop all kinds of ass using my directional buttons. I'm thinking of getting a steering wheel, my last one broke. What's so bad about directional buttons?
 
I like to drift and powerslide and i try hard to do it clean but,just like you Drifta if i`m gonna get passed or something i`ll use anything for a guard rail.
   Has anyone tried to race a two player race with your saved hybrids?Man it make for some great action.
 
Oh yeah,i forgot.I bought my controller when GT 1 came out and it`s still going.It`s a hand held deal you steer with a small wheel on top and have a trigger for your gas(pointy finger),and the brake is a button for your thumb.I love it but i`m not sure it will work on GT 3.It wont on nascar 2001.
 
Are you kidding, that's all I do is race my friends with hybrids vs. hybrids. It's great, 2000 - 3000hp cars flying around small tracks like atumnring. I love it.
