Just thought I'd let u see my latest toy.
The wheels are wrong but apart from that it's almost identical to the Nismo Skyline in GT3.
Does 40mph for real which is a scale speed of 400mph! :-)
Have fun y'all.

Hi

Its a 1/10th scale .12 Nitro RC car from Thunder Tiger and came originally with a Subaru Imprezza body (hence the gold wheels).
I bought the body shell from my local model shop but its made by HPI http://www.hpiracing.com/
It comes as the Pennzoil body complete with stickers and only needs painting and cutting.

Welcome to GTPlanet, I love that! Are RC cars a big hobby of yours? I've always wanted to get into that sort of thing, but I've just never had the time or know-how. :)

Looks pretty cool! Cheers mate
Maybe you should spraypaint the wheels black for the more realistic look, it would be a shame to ruin the shiny gold though...

The car comes as a Ready To Run kit fully assembled and complete with radio, fuel and starter so it's real easy to run.
Stick some batteries in the radio, fill it with fuel and away u go.

The nearest thing to a stage 4 turbo for it is a 2 speed gearbox. Its a bolt on extra which takes its top speed up to 60mph or 600mph scale speed.

I had it fitted with a set of black wheels but my son had a slight argument with a steel fence while driving it and the fence won smashing a wheel in half so its back to the gold ones for the time being :-)

Welcome to GTPlanet.

I have some friends that are big RC guys. They are more into the off road trucks. One has the Traxxas E-max and the other one has the Traxxas T-max. Traxxas They are building a track in one of there backyard's.

I was thinking about getting one because I hear that they are tons of fun. I first thought that they were baby toys but when my friend brought his T-Maxx over I had alot of fun with it. Ramping it off the curb to doing doughnuts in my moms flowerbeds.(Which I got in Trouble for) From there I took it to the school baseball field and continued with doughnuts and throwing dirt all over the place with the tires.
