Need a tune for the Calsonic Impul. I've searched the thread but couldnt find one. Thx in advance.

You have a lot for this one "Nissan YellowHat YMS TOMICA GT-R (SUPER GT) ‘08" and it's the same model ... Check it ,there is a lot of tunes 13.
Bye.

Well if there's none listed as the "Calsonic", even if they are the same you can't blame a guy for asking.
I haven't tried both, so I don't know if there's a difference or not, but I know JGTC cars tend to all be different, always have been in GT.

It was'nt my intention to blame anybody, just wanted to help saying that the others tunes Nissan GT-R (SUPER GT) ‘08" are similar , same cars , ???? stickers make some diference??
I'm not a bad guy ,never wanted to be rude with this person or nobody else.👍

Thx CSLACR... I dont understand "some" people in the forum. I just needed some help. Obviously I didn't know that the YellowHat was the same. I still dont know if there's any truth to that. But this is one of those times i would much rather close my own threat to avoid stupid people. Thx for the reply CSLACR. It was more helpful then the other guys...

I think it's a language barrier, I've noticed English is not your first language, though you're doing pretty well with it for a second, better than my second language went.

But the short response finished with "bye" is a form of dismissal, though I figured out from your other posts you use "hi" and "bye" as beginnings and endings for your posts, the OP could mistake it for something else.

And there we go, lol.
@ XxThePiff - It's just the way he talks, I don't know the right word for it, I guess a form of accent? I actually really don't think he meant anything by it.

I wanted to help you my friend. Where do you see something bad in my reply.
Nonono. Stupid people ? It's too much . Check the way you talk or write .I can be very rustic and bad with stupid people like you. :grumpy:

The joys of having an international community, let alone text, is that the 'tone' of posts may sometimes appear rude when the intention of the poster is not that at all :)

But then calling someone stupid doesn't help my defence ;(

As I still need help with this, I ask if you plz not post on my thread. I appreciate you trying to help and im sorry for my rudeness. Goodbye...

Now i will publish my tunes and nothing else ,ok better like this. A lot of **** for nothing. Silence NOW.............................

Listen, ok. Praiano's a good guy. You very rarely see him pissed off, and if you do, chances are it's cuz you've really misinterpreted him. I know his style if typing may sometimes make him sound like a stuck up ***, bit that's just the language barriers. Anyways, unless I'm mistaken, there's a super GT section in the 'every tune on gtplanet' sticky or wtv it's called. Take a look there, try some out. It's just trial and error, what could be the worse that could happen? :)

Edit: Couldn't find one my arse, here it is :D, it's quite old though, so you'll see if it works…

^^^ Thx... I understand that i did wrong. After i re-read what i have sent, i tried to mend it, a little. I also understand, now, that theres a language barrier. And Im grateful some people try to use english eventhough its not their first language. Im not trying to make what i said before relevent but must we always assume that everyone doesnt have english ad their first language?

What Im trying to say is, both you and (i forgot his name as Im typing on my phone and cant go back to his name) another person that posted know him and know how he comments. But what about everyone else thats relatively new and needs a bit of help?

I do regret what i put and thx for the help. I appreciate it.

Truth is bud.. All the cars are different, so this means that everyons tastes are different, which also concludes to everybody having a different driving line through the apex of a turn... Long story short... One thats perfect to one person can be complete hell to another, but if you're willing to learn how to drive with a different setup than thats fine with me... Heres my recommendations... Raise the ride hight, 6 in front, 7 in back... Setboth suspension to 15.4 and leave the dampers and absorbers the same... Then turn the camber to 1.4 in front and 1.7 in back, with 0.16 toe IN at the back... Full downforce in both ends of the car.. Run a couple laps on nurburg (nordshleife) and see where that gets you...

Btw i accomplished a 6:19 in a stock xanavi nismo gt-r "08... And a 6:06 with a stage 3 engine and 2 turbo kit with 633 hp @ around 500 ft.lbs trqu
Cheers !

:EDIT: i must concede that the xanavi did have an oil change and the engine was fully broken in.. So in a stock xanavi i was running around 513 - 524 hp.. I forget what it tops out at since i rarely race at the "official" 493hp range... Hope this helps you and a lot of others that have similiar issues...

Hi, as far as I know, the Calsonic, Xanavi and Yellowhat are very very close, I havn't noticed any difference. Some said that the Yellowhat is a little less stable than the two others but I've never felt that.

A set-up made for one of them should work for the two others.

I don't know about the Motul Autech.

But there's one GT-R that IS different, the Woodone Advan CLarion is clearly more oversteery than her sisters.

I was just reading these posts, and with the Yellowhat tune working with the Calsonic, Xanavi , Yellowhat and maybe the Motul Autech and Advan Clarion. Using that one tune for all those cars may give you a better and realistic drive for each car, and not the same drive. That would be boring for the seasonals if they all drove the same, plus if they all drove the same there would be no need to swap cars.

XxThepiff, listen to praiano63. This guy is the most easy going, dedicated person i know of to this GT5 tuning. his tunes are usually spot on. I have have used his tune, yellowhat on your requested vehicle and it works flawlessly . Do yourself a favor and check out his numerous tunes.

Praiano keep up the great work!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

I have actually notied running the nurburgring nordshleife day in and out since november... The calsonic is actually the superior car to its other gt-rs... The yellowhat i find to run not the worst, but just not as good as the others, the xanavi takes second place for me... And seeing that the MOTUL is reduced to 473 hp and at 1130kg, i would see that being worse than the advan clarion.... Just like how the reybrig is the worst of the nsx's... They're all different i can garuntee that for sure

I agree with the Calsonic and Xanavi being the two best GT-Rs, I can't tell which one is really the fastest, as the lap times I run with the same settings are extremely close.

Then the Yellowhat and the Motul Autech, with a preference for the last one as it feels more balanced to me.
What do you mean by "reduced to 473 hp and at 1130kg" ? With only 24kms my Motul had 511hp. You mean with same PP restriction or something like that ?

I still think the Woodone is the worst as it has more oversteer on entry and exit, but maybe it's only about driver's preferences.

I've adapted several of Praiano's tunes for my use. They are a great starting point.

The Calsonic GTR is awesome. To know if you are competitive or not, try Deep Forest Reverse. You need to get lap times below 1:06 to be in the running with this car at 502HP.

Next timw you're in the nissan dealership... Check out the motul autec's specs and see what i mean by underpowered and over weight

 I've ever thought that they are exactly the same........ you're sure that they all had the same moddifications and same mileage?

lol, i always use deep forest reverse for all my tune testing, specially with the Super GT cars, i think with 523 bhp on the calsonic i managed a 1'05.02x normally low 1'05's if your doing those sorta times round this track then you will generally be competitive on any track, just give or take the transmission on some of the longer straight circuits

The spec power in the Nissan dealership is wrong, once you've done the oil change she has the same power as the others.

Absolutely sure, I thought they were the same too, but that was before I tried another GT-R after the Woodone.

With same settings and specs, try a Calsonic or a Xanavi on High Speed Ring per exemple, and then the Woodone : oversteer all the way.

I forgot to say that it's better to test it online, as we all have experienced how the online physics is different.

Yes, but the problem with online is, that it depends on how high the quality is set and how laggy it is. That makes a big difference!

No matter how high is your bandwidth or how low is your ping the Woodone will oversteer more than others GT-R, I guarantee :)

A real difference that you can feel, a little less, offline too.

I'll agree... The woodone is the absolute worst of gt-rs

Now are you cutting the corner that is now paved in the recent gt5 version of deep forest?
