Hey dudes, just saw the Nissan GT-R concept tokyo bla bla.. Never seen or heard of this before? Is it some kinda super rare version and should i buy it? Driven 205 km and costs 1 mill ;)

It's a prize car for golding the IC license test. Not so rare.

Its the best Skyline in the game, in my opinion, but its not rare.

There are absolutely no "rare" cars left in GT5

The rarest car in GT5, post-trade-limitations, is probably the Carbon X1 Prototype, for the simple fact it requires a good chunk of skill to gold the required tests. Nearly everything else is purchasable or winnable as often as you have the patience for (with exception to the GT Academy Z and GT-R, and the XFR, which are all prize-only affairs).

Nice - I will give that car a shot! Got it two months ago and never touched it.

Kewl, just picked it up. As soon as I am done testing/tweaking my 350/370z's I will use it as a benchmark for Skylines.

i have the X1 Prototype. I have to agree, with all of the people online and trading and duping cars, there arent many RARE cars left, some are less common than others, but none are rare

I love this car. I love surprising people with it's pace on-line against more popular opposition.

The ford rs200 is pretty rare. Most rare cars are found in the used car dealer. The Nissan Gtr Concept was in it once, but i didnt have enough money. Now still looking 4 it...........

Isn't the RS200 in the OCD?💡

It's in both.👍 I made a trade for one then it showed up in the ocd two days later with no miles..:ouch:

I've got this GTR in ticket form 0/0 if anyone wants to trade for it?

Lister STORM V12 anybody ? I find this car pretty rare.

I've found the lister once in OCD and once in UCD

Chapperel 66 is rare. Have seen it only once since I have been GT5 from November last year. Good thing I bought it then.

Ford GT '02 is rare as well and costs just under 1 million, like the GT-R

XFR?
Whats that?
?tis the prize for golding the top gear challenges. I always thought it was prize only, but I saw a thread on here where somebody claimed to have bought it from the UCD

As for rarity, since I started collecting cars, there are still 2 that elude me in the UCD/OCD and that's:

Pescarolo-Courage - Judd GV5 Race Car '04

Clio Renault Sport Trophy Race Car '00

So for me, these cars are rare, and I check the garages often.

I thought the Proto X2010 might have been in my grasp after golding Monza, but then I tried Nurb GP and reality bit hard.

Then there's the Chromeline and Stealth cars, which aren't so much rare as excusive. I keep getting this crazy idea of buying a signature ed if you can still get them new, just for the cars.

The Nissan from the OP - I have 2, bought one, then won the other for licenses, I think.

I agree, not much is really rare anymore. The Academy cars and the XFR are tradeable, so they get around. With the Level 22 and 23 tickets out there now, all the high end race cars are obtainable without waiting for them in the UCD.

For UCD hunters, there are still a few cars not easily available from tickets, that are over the trade limit. So in this sense, the GT-R Concept, Ford GT '02, W12 Nardo, and R390 Road Car are rare.

(Note: This isn't meant to be a definitive list. There are a couple LM Concepts and DTMs as well, and I left out some that have been in the OCD recently, like the Viper GTS-R Concept.)
