While I agree this is an old thread here's one thing no one else has mentioned. Maybe the OP has his thread set so he will get an email if there are any responses to his request and he hasn't been on the forums lately nor has he kept up on the game. If so by replying to his thread he will get an email bringing attention to the fact that the car he was looking for is now available again. Nothing wrong with helping a brother out, is there?
What I think is funny as all get out is how people post new responses to old threads complaining about people posting new responses to old threads.
Seeing as how you are looking for a GT Academy car and not the Academy Special car you might want to start your own trading thread so as not to step in and hijack someone else's.
On a different note have you played the special time trial under Seasonal Events that gives you a free Academy Special car just for getting bronze? I'm a terrible driver yet I had no problem getting the car with just a DS3.
