I'll have a play with some of the settings posted on here but so far i've managed a 2.04.8 with the car all standard with minimum weight, r3 tyres and power increased to 699pp. Thats running in free-run.

I'll try your setup, though I'm quite happy with the last setup I posted here, I use it online and I really like it.

heres the set up I run on the GTR for 700PP races

I dont really race suzuka much I normally race at fuji, found the gears around the s bends in suzuka worked really well, also the handling of the car is as good as usual :D

When you are on a road course you don't want the car to pull to one side unless the road course has more left turns than rights, or vise versa. I would run no toe in/out on the car on a road course. Use that toe setting for the High Speed Ring or Daytona. :)

Also, trying taking the camber adjustments back on the car. Road courses are usually flat, so you want as much of the tire on the pavement as possible.

Toe does not make a car pull to one side or another. And camber is not for oval racing, its for keeping a good contact patch with the road when the car and tyre is rolling to one side.

Ran a 2.05.5 this evening at Sukuka on PP700 with an almost identical setup to Fuji, which was originally setup by nd4holdenspd........ just modified torque split a little, along with steering angle and toe angle....

I'll post the settings tomorrow when i get the chance. I was absolutely stoked with that time as i've only been on Suzuka for a little over a day now after banging around Fuji for the best part of a week.

For the GT-R? The GT-R can't go further than 735PP, so it get's blasted by other cars like the Corvette Z06/Tuned and Ford GT LM Spec II Test Car. Check the American Tuners subforum for settings of those. Don't throw away your GT-R yet though, you never know if 700PP is introduced again. ;)

i know, i don't mind being a bit underpowered, but wanted to see other's set up for comparison of gears camber etc.

i don't do american cars at all.

Well, I guess that a good driver good still get a good place in an online race, even in an underpowered car. I would leave the handling settings as is, they're pretty good. But if you increase the power, the gears will nog longer be correct and require some tuning.

i will post my settings when i get home. the car is running pretty well now, but i still have some gearing issues in a couple of hairpins.

You could also change Power, Weight and Tyres to...

Power: -4
Weight: 115
Tires: S2

The car is then quite good for the 600pp races at Suzuka.

thanks NLxAROSA,glad there are plenty guys out there doing awesome work on set-ups for us mere mortals to enjoy!!

ps thanks to Beefaben also.....:)

Thanks for a great Tuned 'Vette setup my fellow Dutchman 👍
Could you tell me/us how the 'Vette setup would change if I were to use that car for the S10 event (Suzuka 700pp R1)? I always like a car to have as little understeer as possible, a little oversteer is appreciated to help me swing the corners, and no surprises when lifting ... :dopey:

EDIT oops ... wrong thread (more dopeys) sorry but 'fraid I can't change it.
