You've all seen the pics of the Nissan Nails. Everyone that I hear/read talking about this concept, thinks it is horrible. I love this thing! IT is a work of art! It is pure genious. SO whay do you guys think? By the way, here is a pic to refresh your memory:

The pic of this can be found here.

I love it, I think with other rims and another color it would look better. This one is not too bad. I like it.

Mmmmm.....

So, what is the relevance of the name - is a box of nail the only thing you can carry in that useless tray?

It looks like a Ford Transit tray on speed.

I have an idea, they can take this car and start a racing series with it. Like you guys said it not for utility.

Yeah, a racing series where heavy braking causes all the cars to nose over onto their roofs at the first sharp turn...

I don't hate it, but it doesn't do much for me. I think the front bumper/hood joint could be resolved much more neatly so it didn't come from the factory looking like the front clip had been knocked off in an accident.

It looks like Nissan has jumped on the "pimped out Golf cart" bandwagon.

Let this stay as a VR concept. Please!

Typical Japanese concept cars. If it looks too bad to be produced, it won't be. For example, just over the last few years, how many bizzare (and mostly hideous) concepts have we seen come out of Japan? Now compare that to how many have actually made it to the street -- even in Japan? Not many, thankfully. The Japanese like to push design now and then, but they are the last ones to radically change what works. Look back over the evolution of all their cars and you'll see that it's a steady, careful, and subtle transformation. No sudden changes, no major introductions...the most radical thing I can remember that made it to production is the WRX's bug eyes, and even that's not original (really, what Japanese design isn't derived from some Western company).

For those of you who hate this box of Nails, have no fear. For those who like it, you won't miss much. :)

I doubt it will ever be made and if it is ever made (I highly doubt it) I dont think the design will be as "futuristic" as it is there. Maybe if you could fit some pizza in the back it could be used as a japanese pizza delivery vehicle.
