Every time I do a race there is always a skyline in the UCD . My question is is there one particular skyline that is a must have or are they all very similar ?

They are all pretty similar and there is always one there because the are so many in the game.

I have a skyline GT-R that is a must have (in my opinion) you can only get it thru a ticket (not sure which one) but it is a Calisonic Skyline GT-R it is a sweet car ...i use mine for drifiting i always am top on the lap charts beating most super and sport cars (lambos, vipers, vettes,GTs,almost everthing)(except thoes stupid X2010(2011) )

Are you talking about the Calsonic Impul GT-R '08, Calsonic Skyline '00, or the Calsonic Skyline GT-R Race Car '93? They are not street cars, you spanner. They are lightened race cars (JGTC) with downforce. Ofcourse you are going to have an easier time beating street going Lamborghinis and Corvettes and such.

One of those is a premium. The other two show up in the UCD, and one of them is even a prize car.

The differences aren't major, but there ARE differences. But a must have is the NISMO R32, 400R and R34. They are not considered Nissans in the game but rather NISMO as a stand alone make. The NISMO R34 is especially a great car.

Look out for the M-spec GTR '01 or the M-spec Nur GTR '02 from the UCD, those 2 will get you the most hp when fully built IIRC.

Have a good one

you would never ever guess a 19 year old RC Skyline would be a maxed out Supercar so thanks for being a Smartass

No, thank you for being the poser that has to use a JGTC car just to beat street cars. If it weren't for people like you, I'd have no one to laugh at.

But, I guess there is no kill like overkill.

poser i am justing being a guy that knows what car to choose to drag and yeah we all know a 400hp car is going to beat a 800+hp supercar really think

Using a racing car against a street car isn't considered fair. The racing car may have less power but it also has much less weight, which will probably result in it having a higher PP than the street supercar.

On topic: Many people think that the Nissan Skyline GTR M Spec Nür (R34) '02 is the fastest. But actually, the Nissan Skyline GTR R34 in the New Car Dealership is the fastest. Once broken in it has more power than the M Spec. (breaking in takes place once you've driven the car more than 300 miles, and then oil changing it.)

I can't find a GT-R that will beat the R35 Black Edition '12 from the new car dealership. I can get the '07 V-Spec R35 to come close.

A "Skyline" which sticks out the most besides some race car versions would be the "NISMO GT-R LM Road Going Version 95" based on an R33.

It is one of those cheater cars how I like to call them. The game won`t consider it being a race car but it is.

1285 kg
410 kW
584 PP

and

Max Downforce 35/60 which makes it a race car at the end.

I'm not a big fan of Skylines in general, because most of them that I've tried tend to have big fish-tailing problems that annoy me... I don't like the way they get unsettled and are hard to settle back down.

BUT, recently in the Vintage Car Race Club, we've been testing a bunch of vintage cars (unmodified on comfort soft) for our Vintage Mixer series, and several of the drivers testing them have remarked on how these 2 vintage Skylines have been quite a surprise!!
Nissan SKYLINE 2000GT-R (KPGC110) '73
Nissan SKYLINE HT 2000GT-R (KPGC10) '70

In particular, the 70 is beautiful handling... And unexpectedly fast compared to some of the other similar class/power vintage road cars I had assumed, by their paper specs, would be faster.

Using a racing car against a street car isn't considered fair.

:boggled: I can't believe that anyone, even knowing nothing about real life racing, could play this game for even a few days without figuring that out.

Well sometimes you just have to state the obvious to get the message across to some people.

Si, car is a beast, love the way it gets outta corners, and turns to the apex. I haven't even bothered messing with the suspension, its just that good out the box. Absolutely destroys front tires though.
