No Back Fire on my Picture?

This picture i took with my Vita it shows the backfire

But then when i take the picture ingame

its gone? is this only cause its a vision gt car?

No. Try adjusting frame rate and focus rate.

Comparing the two shots (the white line to the left of the car), the in game picture of the car seems to be at a position a few thousandth's of a second before the backfire occurs in the vita picture.

That's normal. The shot you get through photo mode is a fraction later than on screen. If you try shutter speed at 60, the at 8000 you'll see the background and road markings are in different places. As the backfire happens so quickly it's hard to keep it in shot - unless by some miracle you pause the shot just before the backfire!!
