I just read an interview in the shop and finally someone asked about the weather on the tracks.

Kaz answered that there will be no dynamic weather changes during races, but there will be different types of weather, like "races starting in the pooring rain".

All the rest was old news, so I guess that will be another disappointment for some people, but it won't keep me from buying it anyway

You need a TAPED interview, or have the information come from a reliable source, such as IGN or Gamespot or maybe even have PD announce it before you start believing these rumors. There are SO MANY rumors about GT4. :banghead: where did you get that from? :odd:

I read it in OPM2, the Official Playstation 2 Magazine, the only official PS2 magazine in dutch.
So I guess it's quite reliable.

If this is true, this was actually kind of what i was hoping for. I mean weather changing in the middle of a race would be cool, but if you start one race and it's hot and sunny, but you lose that race and thenn you go back to the same one, and it's pouring down rain, I think that's a pretty sweet feature!

Sounds cool to me! I wonder if we need to buy a set of rain tires in GT4? If so, maybe we can switch from dry to wet tires when it starts to rain in the middle of a race? What do you think?

That is like the MOST reliable source. I doubt that this is a rumor. Some people say GT2 is better than GT3. Now ther're SO wrong! GT4 is better than GT2 :p

I think it would be awesome to race in the rain as long as if it is raining in an endurance race there are periods where it gets to raining harder and periods where it stops. it would be real challenge to so laguna seca in a blizzard.

Thought am I the onyl one to read that there will be no dynamic weather change. Isn't that a bad thing. I mean different weather conditions are fantastic, but dynamic weather is better! O well guess I will have to wait and make do when GT4 comes out :( ;) .
