:(
i was really really hoping that they had scrapped the whole 50km/h GT4 fuel stunt. i see now that sadly they havent.
BTW ALONSO SHOULD HAVE WON
i dont mind that vettel won, im happy for him. it would have also been nice to see webber win.
as long as hamilton and button didnt win i would have been happy. and i am.

It was to make F1 easier to watch for the audience.
Apparently they thought that we got confused if teams pitted with different strategies and fuel loads...
But whatever, an epic season till the end, so glad Alonso didn't win!

The reason they banned refueling this season was to lower costs for new teams I think.

10 more MPH doesn't make much difference if you have an overpowered and fast car like FGT or X2010.

Nice find anyway.

It is a rule with any manufacture licensed cars that are represented in any racing video game.

1. No car can come to a complete stop or show signs of a reliability issue.
2. No car shall show injury to the driver in the cockpit area, or objects that may enter and harm the driver.

Don't really want to go "there" but cars stop in Forza 3. Well, just about anyway, 1mph is the best you'll do until you hit a gradient.

Yeah it does. Didn't you read the thread?
If you run out of fuel midway through the track, wouldn't you want to go as fast as you can back to the box? 10 more mph is especially noticeable when you're only going 50 in the first place.

Well then i guess forza breaks these rules.

Alonso has been whining and moaning all season.
Especially when he can't overtake a slower car.

Another reason to have a budget cap 👍

It doesn't matter what car you are using, whether it's 1 MPH or 10 MPH, it's still more which gives you an advantage.

re-fueling was banned for saftey reasons more than anything else it lowers the insurance premium because they don't have the same risk levels in the pit area eg: fire ,and they dont have2 carry as much equipment between races which lowers transport costs .

They've had refuelling for ages...

They've had refuelling for ages...

Yeah, but now they're trying to lower the cost of F1 to be more in line with the global economy. People get pissed off when they're losing money out their ear-holes when huge companies pay hundreds of millions of US Dollars every year on what is essentially some random motor sport.

Personally I think screw that! It's F1  Nobody has stopped them paying footballers hundreds of thousands for each match...

The guy I quoted said that refuelling was stopped due to safety reasons???
My point was that they've been refuelling for ages, so why not stop if before?

And footballers aren't even that brave, they get a bit injured and then fall to the ground and start crying asking for a free kick.
Webber on the other hand got food poisoning and kept on driving in Fuji.

Noz
Is 60 then the limit or can you speed up to a higher speed with this "glitch"

Cheaters!!! How dare you do this, you are destroying the game for everyone that plays it the correct way.
:p

I actually did the xxx m/s seccond trophy by acident playing with gears in one of those prototype hybrids you win from the events. (might be the mitsubishi or the izuzu)

Here are two pit stop accidents due to refueling

On topic: Thank you for this "discovery", I can now go faster to the pits in case I run out of fuel.

Only very few accidents made, but having no refuelling seems to have made the season more epic than 2009.
So I don't mind.

Petrov drove out of his skin in the last race and good for him. But as a Ferrari fan i couldn't help but think, 'for god's sake spin out, you've done it every other race, why haven't you messed up in this one'. Alonso was wrong to do that to Petrov but it's understandable. If any one should have won it should have been Webber. All season playing 2nd fiddle yet he was better than Vettel. Plus if Vettel hadn't done that stupid overtake when he crashed into Webber, i think Webber would be champion

If cars could go 50mph with no fuel in real life then the energy crisis would be solved.

Alonso doesn't whine too much. The biggest idiot babies in the field are Hamilton crazy-arse guy, Massa the loser, and Vettel "the finger" das baby! man, those three are such losers. F1 would be so much better without them!
:)

Hell no!
Hamilton for his crazy overtakes, being brave and overtaking where no man has overtaken before.
