Is there a way, either in arcade or career mode, where I can just try out a track without racing on it? I know there's time trial, but it doesn't have all the tracks in there. For example, in the beginner events, in the FF series, one of the tracks is Hong Kong. I'm not used to the track so I'd like to drive on it and get used to it without entering a race. If I look in time trial, Hong Kong isn't one of the tracks listed yet. Is there a way I can still do this?

In career mode there are a few races where you can practice the circuit before you race. I know in the Professional Hall, the GranTurismo World Championships allows you to take practice laps before the race. But I believe they allow this because the races are so long, and you would need to test tires and settings. But I don't think this option is there for most other races. You may have to get through the Beginers Hall on your own, and hope that more tracks are unlocked in time trial for you to practice on. Here is a helpful link that has a list of when the tracks are unlocked:

Learn to drive it, thats the point of the game. I hate all that stuff because you're not going to have it in real life.

Actually drifter the point of the game is to have fun. And most new cars from the dealer have a traction control system installed anyway.

Go to Driving Park, City courses, etc...all the tracks are there once they are unlocked. You can practice, photoshoot, and race AI there at whatever difficulty...only 5 credits.

In essence, they are loaded for you. Instead of having your own garage to load like it was in GT3, the cars you acquire in GTmode are simply unlocked, and available for you to race in Arcade mode. When choosing a car for a race you have to look through each car manufacturer to pick one of your GTmode cars. It takes a little longer to get into a race because we don't have a garage in Arcade mode where all of our cars would be in one place. Bottomline: You can race any car that you have in GTmode in Arcade mode.

but will the cars be set as they are in gt mode? sorri if i sound stupid but i cant find the LOAD GAME either i always have to reset it. but is there one or no? :dunce:

when you choose your car in arcade mode, look up top (im runnin endurance race now so i cant see it... ) but off the top of my mind there is like the dealer slot, then a 1 and then a 2 right next to it, select one and there is your garage with all the cars the way you had them in simulation... and there ya go. #2 is slot 2 for memory card, there your buddy can select his cars whice are just the same the way he had them.. so you can race tuned cars against you buddies tuned cars and watch the replay. 👍

Ok, I guess i'm being stupid about this but I want to get a saved lap time for my modded RSX, how can I do that? Do I just have to write the times down? I'm confused.

how sucky is this? I have a bunch of unmodded cars where I have only changed the wheels and I cant race em in arcade!!! :(
