No GT7 on pc :(

With Special Stage 7 and offline mode and GMA T50 I always always wanted to play Gran Turismo on pc natively but sadly Sony destroyed my hope in this year.
I have played all Gran Turismos in emus and native consoles from GT1 till GT6 (GT 2000 demo in pcsx2 only, GT6 in rpcs3 only).
Had ps2 slim till 2009 as it died that year for me, still have my Game Boy Advance Sp in peach or pink color also somewhere although with weak battery and lost somewhere in house.

I can't believe that I will never get to drive the Lamborghini Murcielago in Trial Mountains in GT7 on pc because it never came. And also saddened that now Microsoft wants to go that similar route
with their games too, no one knows when even Forza Horozon 6 will hit ps5 or will Microsoft also remove its titles from elsewhere. I get that exclusivity thing, but no one in these days can have enough or infinite money to buy everything in market as I even will be waiting for GTA 6 also to hit pc after its console release, pc always ftw and Windows emu on phones too ftw.

Btw I am loving Tourist Trophy so far in pcsx2 with pnach files and GT3 chase cam. I do miss driving the Lexus LFS in Gran Turismo 5 in Special Stage 7 in rpcs3 but yeah may we all get through these dark times.

What is the point of this thread then, if you have shady tools at your disposal. The discussion of which is against the AUP.

Huh, they are emulators, not some shady tools besides, there was a chance of gt7 on pc since those Nvidia leaks but the plan changed and I am 100% sure here in Asia, at least in Pakistan, no one is buying ps4s or ps5s because they are super expensive here, they just get a pc or phone for gaming thats it. And no my one comment already got deleted once because according to the admins here I was not being nice to the first commentor here. Nothing Shady here. I played from GT1 till Gran Turismo 5 on actual consoles too.

I am amazed that a guy from where Nokia, Jolla phones are made, (former HMD now) which also supports emulators is telling me to buy a walled garden and mostly expensive box for gaming, in this economy?
 
PCs are too much hassle nowadays for the casual gamer.

They want to open the box (or download in my case) and play. And it will play.

So discussions or our opinons are invalid just because we didn't had that hardware, mate back in 2004 and 05 and even 2014 I enjoyed playing all those Gran Turismo games on fat ps2, slim ps2 both of them black, even 2003 ps one for GT1 and GT 2 with two discs and ps3 super slim of my excousin in 2014 for gt5, don't remeber if I ever had Tourist Trophy in 2005 on ps2 ever. I am getting old too, am 32, to be 33 this October, nowaways the consoles no longer use bespoke hardware anymore they are either x86 or arm devices that is why pc and phones ftw.

Mobile phones have taken over here in Asia like in Pakistan, China, India and so... also cheaper phones (sadly with Mali gpus) can be bought here rather then ps5.
I can get a smartphone today if I had funds between Pkr Rupees 40000 and 80000.
Bought my phone Galaxy A32 4g (Sadly Mali g52) in 2022 for Pkr Rs 40000.
Also posting from a laptop which is gifted to me by my uncle, with Core i7 8850H and Nvidia Quadro P2000 (Pascal gpu out of suport since November 2025), still capable of emulation, never tried ps4 emulation ever other then till 3ds, vita and ps3. and Switch 1 emus, even on phone, yes on Mali G52.

I see your side of the coin @Bizz91 I have basically every game I want to play on my PC via emulators and such pumped via my 4090. But that doesn't include GT5+ because well, Gt5 and GT6 were just 'alright' (plus emulation has a loooooong way to go to properly emulate those games with their updates) so I've always had a Playstation console basically to play the latest GT and Ratchet & Clank games on, plus I cross play other games like CoD Zombies as I prefer a controller there.

You kinda gotta accept that Sony has their IP locked down to a console, so you either buy one, or don't. Kinda sucks, yes, but fact of life.

Now that is very pleasant and calm to hear that from you, yeah we are back to those exclusive games days again, until then maybe I can get out of my medications and also have a job in helping myself and my family, if I was ever bad to anyone I apologize, I didn't looked carefully before I posted some stuff probably also due to a bit high blood pressure, thanks for everything, I was just willing was I ever alone in being sad that Gran Turismo never made to pc or even in the days of GT5, bikes were never ever brought into Gran Turismo after Tourist Trophy (Amazing game here in pcsx2, makes me cry with Ducati 999R on Special Stage 5).

I wonder how long the wait will be for ps6 portable. Boy that new Switch 2 sku will be better indeed when it comes in 2027 (For Mario Kart World and Kirby Air Riders and more)

I don’t really know what any of that means?

My point was:

Can I play X game on my PC?
It depends.

Can I play X PS5 Game on my PS5.
Yes. Always. No matter what PS5 you have.
 
Hehehe in few years questions will be like... can we play all Polyphony games including Motor Toons and Omega Boost and Tourist Trophy on
Playstation 6 Portable.
