No lap count when spectating lobby races

Is there a way to see how many laps are left when you join a lobby race?? It is frustrating that you join a room and have no idea how long the race is.

Yeah I tried that, it shows everything but the lap count!!

Agreed, very annoying lacking information. It should also state this in the lobby when you are checking which room to join. i.e. "Race in progress: Lap 4/5".

This game is a demo, testing grounds for something more to come I feel; but something so simple and informative, come on!!!
