Maybe some earthquakes and tidal waves would slow you down too?:dunce:
They had sporadic power outages in March. All staff were fit for work.
There has been little reduction in PD staff workload overall.
:dunce:

I feel they are saving "new" stuff for GT6, though maybe they can put in missing GT4 tracks updated into GT5.

But another thing, unless the PS4 is going to be able to let developers carry on their previous work from the PS3, we would have had to wait even longer for GT6 (so probably 7 years from this point in time). I think we really would have only seen GT5 for the PS3. But that really gives me reason to believe that Sony is making the PS4 just like the PS3 in a way to make it easier to "carry on" previous work.
I hope GT6 will be a lauch title for the next PlayStation (be it PS4 or PS Amore or some other cheesy italian name like Vita) and until then they keep upgrading GT5 with regular updates. As for new tracks and cars, if PD have any idea that they actually have some competition in the form of Forza4, they will release a big update package via PS Store around the time it gets out. I doubt it will be free though if it happens. But this is merely speculation and only time will tell.

Jesus...Is this thread still ongoing. Just because I had a moan about 5 months waiting for a set of driving suits. LoL

P.S Better not mention Forza 4 then.

What a disappointment.
How arrogant can PD get. They new people where hoping for more than this. Why not just come out and say what's coming and whats not. Saves the misery of waiting :-)

New songs and Fashion.....Just a joke.

At the least, after all this time waiting, we should have had a few totally new tracks or some of the favs from the previous games.

I can't even be bothered testing the AI improvement at the moment.
Back to GTR Evo and Shift 2 then.

I cant remember Kaz ever saying he was putting new tracks and track editor in, so why so dissapointed. Dont build up false hopes and you wont be so upset.

I for one hope that they can first somehow fix the look of some of these tracks which look like something from the PS2 -for instance Laguna Seca, Grand Valley, Deep Forest, Autumn Ring!

@another_jakhole

I disagree with the statement that games are more massive today than of years past.

Prime example GTA SA vs. GTA IV. SA is much bigger landscape vs. IV

Only thing that newer games have over older game is their graphics that's the only part where they are bigger.

Your example is flawed, SA was slightly bigger than IV, but IV had a lot of details everywhere, whereas SA had huge parts that were just empty.

PD has actually implemented a lot of huge improvements to the game in this update. Much faster, vigorous AI, improvement of standard model graphics, and 3x more money- I think they need congratulating.
