No PS3 update

I'm sorry if there's already a thread on thesi but for some reason my PS3 says there isn't another update. As you all may know there was supposed to be an update July 2, 2008 allowing us to access the XMB with leaving the game. I was looking forward to the update and I'm pissed that It's not there. Has this happened to anyone else? I'm in serious need of help.

And I would have to agree that its not exactly loads at all, we have a grand total of one member with a problem here (and a lot more with no problems at all).
