That is Steven's personal favourite NRBR picture of mine too.
By now, you guys should know the drill. I'm a little disappointed wit the number of submissions last week, perhaps this week will be better eh?
Have fun all, I will ;) as Laguna is a really great track for me and all.
Deadline for submission is 1st November at 6pm GMT.

Hi Ben, long time no see. :D

I'm going to have to have a look through my garage to see what I've got left. Used the R8 too soon I fear, not that I could've got round Laguna Seca unscathed in it? :scared:

Maybe a nice gentle drive round in an old Quattro. 👍

I have a car already to go, just need to change the gearing.
I will also be using a Quattro(Le Mans that is;)).
 
I guess Im a bit luckier, or maybe its just that I stuck to my race strategy, I'll be using my BMW McLAREN F1 Race Car for Laguna Seca, and I still have my BMW V12 LMR for Sarthe, so hopefully I can get a race win before the season closes.

okay, i think this time it will be the CLK DTM Race Car

and i also have the C9 for Le Mans :trouble:
 
Hey guys im new the GTP and I want to test my skills against other drivers so i thought i'd join a race series... but i have no idea how to go about doing this? What all do i need to start? sorry if i sound like another noob to the forum but i've seared GTP a lot and can't seem to find anything. thanks!
 
Well, I believe it is a little late to join the series now, this is the 2nd to last race I'm afraid. Sorry. Perhaps you'll be able to join in another series running now/soon?

What Ben means is this is only a 6 week tournament, (we've only got two rounds left).

If you're up for some on-line racing you may want to try THIS forum. It's dedicated to the weekly race series, the most successful on-line racing event for GT4. 👍

Check out the GT4 Qualifier race thread. That should give you all you need to start racing.

Oh, and welcome to GTP.

I tried my car today, I don't think I did too bad. I wonder where everone is?
 
Im sure everyone is around here somewhere, they probably just like me and only run the race a few days before the deadline, I cant remember my trial run with my BMWMcLaren but Im sure it was under a minute, but what I know for sure is that its at least 4 or 5 seconds faster than my M3GTR RaceCar, and that car really flies through the track, hopefully I get pole this week, if nobody is using an LMP
 
Looks like alot of fun. Sorry I haven't been on, my brother got me "Mega Man X: Command Mission" for PS2 for my birth day and I've been playing that alot. Being a hard core Mega Man fan can get to you after a while though, started having nightmares about the game so I should be able to get a good time this week.

Sammy is tring the race as I type this, she having a hard time picking a car though.
Right now I have her racing my ghost I made with my Le Mans.
 
I'm suprised as to how long it had taken me to attempt a try in this race but I have now done so, and will be the first to actually post a time. For some reason though, playing GT4 these past few days has felt strange, almost like all my racing experience went down the drain. Weird...

1'10.620 - BMW M-Series.

I have a time, not that fast but still it's a time. I will have to get it and post it.

Sorry Luke, I can't accept the time because it's with the same car as you used in round 4, please state what M-series it is, then I can accept it.

new podiums this week, partly because of meager posting of race 4 laptimes :sick:. congrats to imraan for consistant driving (first!) and to luke for the same, tho he gained some of his points due to special treatment by the stewards ...
my 3rd place is something i don't really like because i want you lot to race and win - that's what i do this for.

so let's do better posting for the final races of the tourney my friends!

Umm, I'm aware that he used the 97' McLaren F1 GTR Racer, the only other alternative is the 03' SLR McLaren, and that is a Mercedes-Benz, in which he does not use no?

And Ben, you're smarter than this, there are 5 M-series BMW's in Gran Turismo 4, to this race, I've used 4. Simple enough?

Ok less of the aggression please. You made it sound like you didn't know. I tried to help.
Please state what M-series you are using - M3, M3 CSL, M3 GTR, M3 GTR Race Car, M5?
Because at the moment, it does say the same vehicle as round 4. It's a literal thing.
 
I guess I was a bit off with my time predictions, I currently have a 1:08.048 with my BMW McLaren, with room for improvment, Im aiming for a 1:05, but only time will tell.
 
Now that are some times up I will post my time.
