NO SLEEP!! 24 HOUR LEMANS to be in GT4?

It will probably be like 2.4 Hours of LeMans or something along those lines. Having a 24 hours would be cool I guess.. but **** rarely anyone would do it. If you could have like a team and go online.. and 6 people join the game.. after couple hours some more ppl join the game and take over and countinue to drive... while you sleep.. it might be cool. But there is no way... ever that would happen in gt4.

Code_kev, I'll admit. You have a cute little cow in your avatar. Now on to the issue of McLaren expressing herself in any way she sees fit. I have no problem with her expressive nature. For she's a human being and as long as she's not acting sarcastic and racist, what's the point in making fun of or hating on her? I tell you. I'm sick of sticking up for people I know and love. Why so? Whatever happened to respect? Whatever happened to unity and togetherness on GTP? One forum site I did forums for, I had a tough time trying to stay with everybody, and when I had some questions, I get pushed around on by members of that thread including two or three moderators. But I did nothing bad. Some were probably so uptight about things. I didn't feel like putting crap with some people sometimes. So what did I do? I threatened to quit. And even at times with the other site I did topics for, I get pushed around even though I'm trying to make myself at home there.

Where I'm getting at is that everyone is different. And some people get on McLaren about those faces almost as much as someone b*tches about long posts. I changed since then, but regardless, if no one liked me on the 'Planet, I can choose to just tune them out and read the other replies. I don't hold a grudge against people online, but to those who think McLaren is annoying with those faces on GTPlanet, remember something. The world does not revolve around you. You do not own GTPlanet- Jordan does. Stop being so self-important. When GT4 is being "rivaled" by games like PGR2 and Forza Motorsport," that's taken GT4 to something other than the norm for GTP forum-making for GT4. If I'm on a site about MegaMan (one of my favorite game characters), I don't go in saying that Donkey Kong is better. I don't go around saying "I will not buy GT4 unless Britney Spear's 'Toxic' song will be in the soundtrack," don't I?

I'm sorry to pull off a long post, but McLaren'sAngel can do whatever she wants, and she's well-aware that unless she abide by the rules, there's no reason for her to not do whatever the hell she freaking wants. I'm sure McLaren is an Angel. An angel in the sense of doing right than doing wrong. So to the next person who daresay threaten the way McLaren'sAngel wishes to act, the world does not revolve around you. Your voice does matter as opinion, but you are not judge-jury-execution on how a person acts or how that person thinks. So damn it to hell, GET OFF OF MCLAREN'SANGEL!!! You dig me, players?

Blah....um...looks to me 24 Hour Lemans in GT4 might not be possible due to how many of you put it. Yea... after thinking about playing a race that last 24 hour does seem soooo "tiring"... but WHEN YOU HAVE ALOT OF ENERGY LIKE ME ITS NOT!!!!
Its kinda hard to not put it in also because 24 Hour LeMans is a BIG historic race! It's like a race where you give it all you got for 24 hours, stay up as much as you can a use all your energy to win! The winner of the race is sure to be greatly rewarded and get that BIG sense of pride to himself that he accomplish something that he will remember for the rest of his life! So, I still think they gonna put it in because of how famous the race is, but once again many of you dont think its gonna work or not going to be fun. We will have to see when GT4 comes out this November!!!

Hmmmm looks to me that a 24 Hour Lemans race doesnt seem popular Unless it have some save spots like in the pit like some said and I think it will work! It seems to me that you boyz are intimidated by the "24 Hour" 24 Hours sure is a loooooooong time to keep your hands on the controller and to play several hours a day and cant exit the race or else you lose.

Maybe if the prize for winning the 24 Hour LeMans is actually like "OMG I WANT THAT CAR(s) SO BAD!" would you actually do it? PD could make the 24 Hr Leman a requirement to obtain special cars, but beating 24 Lemans shouldnt be included to get 100% complete. The special prize could be like....

geez John a long post ! Thanks for helping me out John! I too when I first started on this board was very nervous! I read threads and started to enjoy staying around here unlike Gamefaqs where people CONSTANTLY ARGUE OVER LITTLE THINGS MY GODDESS!!!!
Just reading other thread and noticed how everyone just expressed them selves about things and how they feel make me feel like home, so that is why I too want to express myself of how I feel by typing it and using emotes becuz they are FUN!
It is strange beeing soooOOO unique on this board, right FAMINE? Famine got the purplish letterings and all and I got the emotes flying all over my sentences! I get good attentions and sometimes BAD attentionS! I just go through through the bad attentions by trying to understand that person and try to solve it myself.

Most 24hour races aren't even 24 hours straigh though. It's usually broken up into 3 days with 8 hours each day or something. So a "24hour race" would be kinda wierd...
I wouldn't like this idea cuz PD might put a % of your completion in finishing that race and I'd never race it.

I would have to say from reading all the post so far, I guess 24 Hour LeMans isnt a popular choice to put in for GTplaneteers! I am sure on other boards, it will probably be unpopular. If it were to happen in the future, it should be placed in as a bonus race to get something big so some or most wouldnt have to be pulling hairs in boredom to race for 24 hours!

I recon that a 24h race would really annoy me if I didn't do it with some mates to change drivers.......I could get like 4 people over for a whole day and night.....like a real 24h race and take turns.......it would be pretty cool........but it could get dull after like 100 laps of the ring! A 24hr race is exactly that, for 24 hrs. i.e. Saturday 4pm until Sunday 4pm at Le Mans

At Le Mans there are at least 3 drivers per car, 4 at the Nurburgring 24hr.

So IF there was a 24hr race you would likely have A.I drivers to drive the 2/3rds of the race were you will not be driving.

Otherwise you would be able to save the game at pit stops, and come back to it when you so wish.

...i have the "24 hours of Le Mans" at home it´s veryyy old(it´s an CD and not and DVD like all the games today!)....u can choose before the race:15min, 30min, 2hours, 4hours and (yes u guessed it!)24hours nonstop racing at one track with the same car!!!
....hmmm...as ROBIN said it would be "managable" to drive this looooOOng race with some mates and pauses for each driver of course,yeah!!...it would have a little flair of the real race but it would be boring when u have to stay up from ur bed at 3:30am and have to drive 6hours then while the other "drivers" fall asleep!!!!

....so 2 or maximum 3hours ok(on the ring perhaps maximum 4hours but not more!)but oohhh that´s soooOO ******* long!!!

24 hour race - yikes, would be good if there were a full compliment of cars and the ability to save in pits, but with only 6 cars it would get mighty boring.

24 Hour Le Mans PS2 game is pretty neat which does the full race anyway. Think the game is deleted now so would probably be hard to get hold of.
