No tracks in DLC!

Crappy GT5 Xmas for me then.

Not bothered about more cars. Not buying any more, unless they are special. Historic formula cars etc.
I wish PD would say earlier, that there will be no tracks, to avoid disappointment.

Maybe by February we will get a few tracks. Old GT tracks would do.
Back to Iracing until the next DLC then.

Oh boy, don't know if the mods will like this one.

It is a let down there are no new tracks, I'm still just appreciative they are continuously supporting the game. Check out the news section, Jordan just updated it. With numbers like those, I'm sure we'll have more tracks in the future.

Yes..Looks good. They could make a fortune with some good tracks to add on.
 
I think at some point soon we'll get that renewed Test Course that can be seen in the Spec II intro video.
Since it's likely a very simple track with little use outside car testing, maybe it will be a free Christmas gift?

They did say there would be no tracks... They always announce what is in before they release it...

Exactly! I don't see why some people assume there's going to be new tracks added, the reality is not many racing game developers bring out course packs.we already got spa and kart space. I'm sure pd will bring new tracks out in time, but just please stop posting threads about how you hate PD for not adding more tracks, let's face it, we've got a good track number already :)

Could have 5million cars, still got to race on the same bloody tracks!

There are enough cars for now, its tracks we want!
 
Let the GT5 have 300 000 000 Premium Cars.. But I will always want OLD CLASSIC tracks, like Seattle, Test Track, SSR 11 etc...
 
If no DLC Tracks ruined your Christmas, then Your priorities are screwed up then.

I've already tinkered with the Course Maker several times. Yes, it can be fun once in a while, but the fact that users don't have direct control on how tracks are structured, and that they all tend looking the same, with a boring, dull, empty scenery lacking useful landmarks and most of the time without a coherent flow, doesn't really help.

Most people know this since the game got released anyway. You should too.

Glad you wrote that. I was just going to check if they added more control options for the course maker.

I'm not making things up.

What "landmarks" are you speaking of? Also, I'm pretty sure a coherent flow is quite easy to get into a track, in fact very easy.

I apparently don't know.

They boasted with dupes, night version, rain version, tiny variation, reverse variation.. but still the bloody same place. Plus 3 dirt snow locations and the weird editor.

Let's take a look, without dupes:

+ Track Generator which is quite a buggy tool.

So, only 12 real life tracks, let's even say 13 with the fake Monaco. 3 of them were also in Prologue and get raced to death. So GT5 has only 10 new real life race tracks.

Counting Monaco as real we have 15 fictional tracks, 3 of them were in GT5p as well. So at the end of the day GT5 has only 22 new tracks + 3 dirt/locations (useless for a good amount of road and race cars) + a buggy Track Generator. So compared to the "1000 cars" label, let's say 900 because that's another boasted number, no, not enough tracks. Nobody is expecting a 1/1 ratio but at least 3 bloody tracks from GT4. And no, texture reskinning doesn't take a long.

I'm just sayin'. Bitch about a game, go play something else and not bitch so those of us who enjoy the game can talk and play about it and not whine about not getting something else.
