I have not read a single thing in this entire forum about cost. What if PD does not have the money to do all that? Hmm? Ever think of that? Especially to those of you who always say "PD is lazy." Just saying.

/End rant.

Are you on drugs? How can pd be below turn10 in revenue when forza doesnt come close to gt in sales?

I doubt it cost anything just to travel around and record car sounds when you are the creator of a multimillion dollor franchise.

To me turn10 added a bunch of cheap bs just for show off, like gt would really want to ruine cars with that type of stuff.

Like i said, PD either slacked off, or the game was just rushed like most say.

Maybe they planed on doing sounds, who knows.

I'm not on drugs. I know Forza doesn't even compare in sales, but hey, we don't know how they are doing over there financially. Even if it is a multi-million dollar franchise. They could even be working on it right now. Making everything to perfection.

I think the game was rushed. We as fans did alot of complaining also around that time, and when the game was pushed back the world ran completly out of kleenex.

Maybe its partially our fault that we have vacuum sounded cars

Vacuum sounding? I don't seem to be hearing any of that. I was quite confused when people started talking about that sort of thing...

PC sim racing, check sig.

Irrelevant. Is it not?

Im guessing you brought all premium cars that only had official sound.

They ruined the 69 Corvette. I have to run stock exhuast just to stand driving it.

However, the older Ford GT cars sound niiiiiiiiiiiiiiiice.

Ditto. And the Cougar, and the Challenger.

But seriously, who cares how they were recorded? As long as they sound right, it's no problem to me.

GT5's budget was somewhere around the $90M USD mark near the launch of the game. Whether that includes the continued working after the launch or not, I don't know. Forza's (4) budget was significantly less, and a higher percentage of their cars are carry-overs from Forza 3, with a new LOD added. Obviously they were able to cut costs by outsourcing a chunk of their cars to cheap places somewhere in Asia, though I recall them outsourcing to American places as well.

I drive a larger variety of standards then premiums. So, no.

Yet you act like you dont know what we all are talking about.

turn10 is cheap, yet their fanboys are always talking about whos game came out first and whos took 5 years to make.

Id rather wait on near perfection for a few years than a cheap carryover.

I like the game dont get me wrong, but turn10 focused more on stupid stuff instead of the driver part.

Oh yay, another T10 vs PD / FM vs GT thread. This definitely hasn't been done before!
