DS2, as half the people on this forum, i cant afford a wheel..., nor could i be bothered to start dirfting on it alll over again, so DS2 for me (using the d-pad, its the only way), and thats the way its gonna stay, atleast for a looong while anyway

It only takes a rough 3 weeks to get used to the wheel. I can't play without it now.

yeah I was just Drifting right now with DS2 and i was having trouble countersteering =( I had to just bust a bunch of zero ugly countersteer drifts.

I would buy the DFP if I had a place to to sit it upon. In a family loungeroom with no tables, I'd have to buy one of those driving cockpit setups. I haven't got the extra cash for that or a good place to store it when I'm not using it

I've got two wheels one for the PS (MadCatz) and one for the PS2 (DF) and I've always stuck with a DS controller. Too much work and oddly more fun than a wheel. :dopey:👍

Well... after discovering GTR with a steering wheel I can no longer vouch for the above. The downside no portable gaming... 👎:grumpy:

I use the ancient DS1...the analogs are much easier to use than the DS2 onesl I wanna invest in a DFP though coz i like the feel of actually swinging a steering wheel back and forth. so one day ill get one. Gee im missing my PS2 and GT4 atm im getting it on the weekend prolly :D

GTR, I've only heard good things about that game. I want it now :scared:

why on earth try to drift with a controller when you can do so much better with a steering wheel???

It's because some people have financial problems or can't be stuffed to get a wheel. :)

Oh and your sig confuses me

I'm more use to the Wheel cuz its what i've always used on gt4 and gt3. But i believe that controller would be ezier to use?
Some ppl use controllers for some of these reasons:

1: they cant afford the wheel
2: they like controller better cuz its ezier
3: they dnt like the wheel for some reason i dnt know

thats all i can think of.

^^^ Only reason I haven't got one yet :(
How do people here have their steering wheels setup? (if you're not using a cockpit).

bought a playseat last year, the driving force one, it rocks!! if you hate force feedback, just put it off :D theres a cable going to the steering wheel, take it out, and force feedback is gone.... still the wheel is hard to drift...
