they said they found possible materials for chemical weapons. Its all white powder stuff and its all boxed up in a warehouse which was inspected by the U.N. several times
 
Nope this all new stuff..they had to decontaminate the troops that found it and some had to get treatment. The sensors that they use to detect chem weapons in the feild say thats what they are ..at the time they are being studied more closely,, or so they say. I gather they want to be 100% sure before they go and make a fedral case about it.
 
No you misunderstood me I said that the warehouse had been inspected before but no deadly materials were found. Until now when the US military went in to have a look
 
Thats a new one then, to me anyway, I have not seen anything about that. But they seem to be finding something new everyday.
 
Well, there's another explanantion, but I won't say it out loud. I'll leave it as an excercise for the student.
 
Has anyone been watching or reading the international press ? I find it very interesting to see and read the different slant they put on the same basic news story.(s)
I love reading the foreign press a habit I got into during the hostage crisis in Iran Americans would be surprised at how much goes on that doesn't involve them or affect them directly and by the response of other countries to things we see as benign. Just an observation.

Newscorp is so heavily in bed with the US military you can't take any of their reports particularly seriously - Murdoch was rabidly pro-war in the run up to the first attacks and it's pervaded all the way through their news reporting entities.
 
You would think that since Iraq as 2 no fly zones a north and south pictures of industrial estates and military ficilities could be watched constantly 24/7. America should bloody know were the weapons are being held. Or for some bizarre reason they all need to take a piss or not watch the screen for some reason when they do transport weapons :D
 
Hey, keeno, let me ask you: Do you think that all the Iraqis we've seen on TV lately are A) getting shot by American (coalition) troops, or B) demonstrating their joy under threat/orders of American (coalition) troops?

well to me they all seem to be pre-ocupied with taking everything they could find but yeah they still are tearing down every Hussain statue they can find and beating it with sandles
 
Same thing happens every time. I have to say that if I had a chance to do some looting I'd go for it. Who could pass up their one chance at anarchy?
 
looting is one thing but I remember when we had a fuel crisis and the whole country was stricked of any fuel for cars and I am telling you people were getting rush (jumped), stabbed and shot for fuel. now if it was water than that would be true anarchy. one which could go as far as your own house hold. we are to use to luxuries of all kind and if one of them was gone we would be acting 10 times worser than the iraqs
