Whatever engine the Noble uses, you can sure as hell tell it doesn't sound like something out of a minivan. :D

(Heard one a couple weeks ago; amazing beast.)

Indeed, the first time I heared one I thought it sounded great.

How much are M12's going for these days? I wanna think about getting a track car soon.
New ones, the M12 GTO-3R is around £50,000, and around £56,000 for the M400. There are older ones with a 2.5 V6 in them which should be considerably cheaper, but I'm not sure on a price tag.

Edit: Here's a 6 minute video of the M400. :) You have to turn the sound RIGHT up because it seems very low here...

lol well out of my reach the the moment then. I thought they started new for about 30 grand.

Get an Atom - £22,000 for the "base" model, and nowhere near the depreciation of the Noble.

Which is based on the Mazda K-series V6 (2.5 KL-DE) from 1991...

:D

Bongo... and here I thought the 3.0 we're still getting in the Tribby and Escape had crappy mileage because it was a Ford plant... guess I should have known better...
