You would think the people who make the seizure inducing/annoying ads would stop making them because it makes people less likely to click on them.
 
7:31 AM Central Time, Verizon wireless pop up ad (pops up, plays a video, then goes to the banner). At least you can close that one and there is a mute button. :indiff:

Yeah, apparently they think that people like to play "Shoot the _____ and win a (PSP, iPod Mini, Razr V3, etc.)" "games".

Current ad: "Deliver the DVD to the mailbox and get two weeks of unlimited DVDs" (Blockbuster Online) :rolleyes:

Haha...I just got a new one, said click here to save $600 on an Alienware computer...It wasn't even a link. :lol:
 
No noisy ad, but links to more or less illegal pages, perhaps you want to change that, I don't know if that is a legal problem for GTP or not, just wanted to inform you. ( these ads are from my Kaido Battle 3 thread in PS2 forum )

Backing up your gamesaves isn't a very illegal thing. In fact, we do it all the time (through X-Port and Sharkport). That particular ad has no illegality in our views (as hybridding involves backing them up, editing them, and several other more controversial issues). The fact of the matter is that copying/creating backups is no more illegal than you wanting to burn to CD your financial records for the past three years.
 
Ugh...sorry guys, looks like I'm going to have to get mad at these guys before they ACTUALLY DO SOMETHING ABOUT THIS. :mad:
 
Saw that one on GTP after I lost my Adblock extension and it scared the crap out of me cuz I couldn't cut it off. Very annoying ad.
 
This one isn't noisy but it's getting irritating fast... (I don't want premium because I don't want to have a user title)

Hmmm, there's no URL or company name listed in that ad so I can't really figure out where its coming from. Click on it the next time you see it and post the URL it takes you to. Also, VIPFREAK, if you sign up for GTPremium I'll remove the "Premium User" title from your posts if you want. :)
