Thanks for the nomination, since I could make videos I wanted to be a judge, but the University "steals" me a lot of time. Be sure when I have more free time (I hope it'll be soon, couple of months or so), I'll tell you.

Well, we have to do something to keep the thread alive. Plus, I just don't think Shadow Drifter has a solid understandng of the techniques. Anyway, I'm done with the denominations. When is the poll going to go up? How many nominations do you want before you put it up?;)
 
WOW, I really appreciate you guys nominating me, seriously, it means a lot to me.:O

Hmm, well, SilviaDrifter was my first choice for nomination, but then I saw that we was already nominated, go figure.

Then I thought well let me give NK4E a chance, then I saw he was nominated, go figure.

So I THEN decided to check my own team and let Bryan C. have a chance at it. But holy hell, he got nominated too. Go figure.

Then I seriously thought about it, and you know, I realized that PJD has no judges so, my nomination goes to [Jetstorm]-R.

I think he'll make an excellent addition to the judging panel.

any one wanna tell me how i can drift. wanna kno what setting i would need and ya kno everyhting else. any car suggestions to drift with.

So what's the story bengee? How many nominations are there so far, and how many do you want to get before you throw up the poll? Maybe you could edit the first post, with a list of the current nominations?;)

Well we have a total of 19 people to put on the poll, but 3 of those people will not be able to be judges, even if they exceed the number of votes of other people. It would be nice to have over 20 people. I think we can afford to give it a bit more time...

Oh silvia drifter, as specified in the rules, only three judges can come from one team. since there are 6 monkey d people who have been nominated, only three of them can become judges. The rule was created initially so 1/5 of the members of the panel represented different groups, or none at all... Basically in a team battle the members of each team cannot judge. Therefor a possible total of 6 judges are now excluded ( before it was 4 out of ten, the bare minimum for actually getting some votes in). Make sense???

i guess we are aiming for 15 judges at least...but i think the more the better...

you know what i am pretty much to go to the polls on this one... If anyone wants to wait i will give you two more days to say something.
 
So bengee, what will the final number of judges be?? Is it still going to be just 10?? There are 19 candidates (-3).. so the 10 with the most votes will be judges then? or is this number going to change?
 
Well i wanted a larger panel... at least 15, but i was hoping for 20. I guess i will talk to thio and some others to finalize a number. You have a suggestion?
 
Ok, technically there are 16 nominees right... which I think is ideal :) Think about it.. most of the members that were nominated are active GTPDC participants - which will decrease the number of judges anyway.. so the more judges we have, the better... and also, it's not always possible for some judges to be online and having some extras around will help overcome that...

IMO, I don't think it's necessary for all the judges to judge a competition... A maximum of 10 can judge an event... like the way it is now... but in this case, with say 16 judges, the possibility is much greater to have a full panel of judges to judge... :)

*Edit* In the case of Monkey D having too many nominees, why not hold a poll for them and take the three with the most votes??
