Nonmounted pedals - no more sliding, help

Hello, I've decided I am going to just mount a wheel directly to the chair and to save space I'm going to leave the pedals on the floor unconnected. Has anyone seen a clever way to keep them from sliding? I'm still new here and would like opinions or links to other threads where others have done a good job on keeping them from sliding across all types of floors (wood, carpet, whatever). thanks!

What kind of pedals/wheel do you own?

You can buy a small carpet or simply buy a roll of anti-slip rubber, cut that to size and put it under the pedals. Works great on a wooden or vinyl floor.

I have a G25 and a vinyl floor in the computer room, and wood in the living room. The pedals kept slipping until I used that anti-slip rubber.
I bought that stuff at a store where they sell household stuff (Blokker it's called in the Netherlands). You know where they sell pots and pans, drying racks, washing bins and so on.

Put one of these under your pedals.
