Hey there. Im having some difficulties with the brakes i pCARS. Sometimes my car won´t brake.

Typically im driving on Laguna Seca and (I use drivelines for now) on the last turn my car won´t brake..

Or, so little it doesn´t slow down. Its not caused by crash. I starts brake when the guideline turns yellow, but still im hammering to the safetybars. Almost as if i drove the car in neutral gear

I´m using T300RS and have tweaked the deadzone for throtle and brakes to 1. I dont use steering og brake assist..

And its not on every turn i have that problem. For some reason it just seems be a random appearance.¨¨

It causes me to hit the brakes long before advised and cost´s me positions, to keep it on the track.. Any good advises?

You could be locking the brakes, try bringing up telemetry and seeing if it shows anything strange

it does sound like lock up. what car are you using? try a slower car, see what that's like, perhaps the Clio or a small open wheeler like the Formula Gulf, for example. if you're currently using something with serious power or a road car you might find that's why.

How do i do that?
After some testings it seems like my problem is occuring when i try to brake, while my right foot still pushes the throttle a bit. My throttle has to be untouched, before my braking is good. As if it cant detect my brake attempt if my throttle is activated..
Any options in setup who can fix this?

try wheel calibration in options > controls. you can calibrate the pedals without touching the wheel setup if you like. otherwise just try to stop hitting accelerate when you brake.
telemetry is in HUD display but this may not be mapped to a button. you can cycle HUD options by mapping to a button (I chose R3 on my T300). mapping is in options > controls > last tab (I think) let's you map any button to wherever you like)

Does this mean we cannot trail brake or slightly touch the brake while under throttle?

I have tried calibration and it still seems like it "forgets" to brake at times?
I've turned the sensiveness up to 60, from 40 and maybe im not pushing the brake enough. To the brake setup i like..
Will try a slower car and off all assist and figure out how hard i have to brake to be satisfied

had a similar problem too. I calibrated the pedals, reduced deadzone and increased sensitivity. Than i put telemetry hud on a look if i had pressures problem but brake and throttle bar were fine and responsive. However i could't brake properly.. result? i activated ABS and not works great so i was sucking.

Sorry paulpg87, im not sure i understand. You activated ABS and
that was the solution for you? Is that correct?
