Noobish question about TC cars...

I love that car, something is off if the OP can't drive it. He claims 20mph and running off the road. There are very, very few coners that any car in the available fleet can't take at that speed. Think Hairpin at Cote d'Azur for an example where quite a few cares will under-steer at 20mph. Nothing on Grand Valley is that tight, not even the hairpin.

The OP found out that the only reason the car was running off the road is that part of the car's driving data was corrupt and it wasn't handling as it should.

My gtr TC is a BEAST. It's gotta be the settings.

I agree. The GTR TC is pretty much the best 4WD car in the game. Well maybe second best next to the Escudo. It is fast as hell and the handling is incredible. There has to be some driver aid(s) or car settings that are screwing things up somewhere.
