One simple question: the normal tyres from the LM, rally, GT etc. cars are the same as super soft, no advantage in fitting the super soft that they come with right ?
Originally posted by pupik Well, the Normal tires that come with fully-equiped specials are really no better than the Normal tires you get with a road car.
We once did a race series using tires as a handicapping device and we discovered that on a car which came [R]modded the "normal" tires were more sticky than I think it was the first two hardness grades of slicks. But the softest were definitely stickier. (You see, people began discovering they could go faster by using the normal tires even though their handicap allowed them to go "up" one or two grades... Then someone eventually did a braking test and discovered the truth)
But I haven't played GT2 for a long time, and don't have any references handy.
I don't recall how quickly they wore out.
I know Normal tires got reasonable mileage on normal cars. That meant you had a reasonable chance in the Trial Mountain 30 with a lot of stock or near-stock cars.
