North Philly getting a little silly

Just watched them now.
Was the 2nd vid a rematch of the 1st two cars?
And what were the cars? The vid is cool, but I'd really like to hear about some specs. Looked like a T/A and a Malibu to me.

Wow, and those people have licenses. Sure makes me feel safe.

Here's a reply, don't allow friends to drive like morons. I was actually rooting for the guy who spun out, to flip, crash and burn.

wow your a real asshole, its guys like you that only have the balls to play Gran Turismo all day and leave their toyota corolla in the drive way and bench seat race.
your also the kind of person that cant take into consideration the reason why theis guys build their cars with their own hands.
And you guys are acting like they drive those cars everywhere and drive like that all day, you think they could afford to build 9 sec small block chevy cars that get 10 mpg to work?

:odd: So your pro street drag racing? Imagine for a moment wont you. If that guy that spun out hadnt been lucky enough to spin all the way around and instead had veered off to the side and crashed into one of those nearby houses. Imagine if there were little kids playing with their action figures in their living room. I don't think you have the right to tell him off about not street racing his car. If you have the balls avoid the urge and take it to the track.

ooook then...What if it was to hit one of those spectators? And she was the mother of kids who were playing with action figures in their living room. Then what?:irked:

Are you that naive, to not read around and see what I actually do, or do you not have the balls to face the truth.

I own, right now, two vehicles, of which I work on myself.

First, the one that won't disgrace you. My 1996 Chevrolet Tahoe with a K&N intake, custom headers, 3" stainless steel exhaust, high-flow cat, and small, low-restriction custom muffler (Made by me). It is a two door with a gray cloth on black color scheme. It's got the 350 v-8 and 4 wheel drive.

Now the car that will destroy every ounce of your arguement. My 1982 BMW 528e that has been completely gutted. I rewelded the body (for rigidity), built a custom rollcage and installed, removed excess paneling, removed the stock gas tank, and put a poly tank over the rear axles (for traction and weight distribution), custom fabricated sway bars that are 20mm oversized, an M3 rear diff (for the LS, limited slip), a 2" Eibach lowering kit with Bilstein shocks, Brembo rear disc brake conversion, Powerslot rotors up front, kevlar brake pads, custom carbon fiber hood (also made by me), and over this summer, I am dropping in a 1G-GTE from a Toyota Mark II, which is a 2.0L twin-turbo, which from stock position will give me 60 hp and chop 100 lbs off the engine/tranny mass.

I use this car for track racing and drifting on closed courses. It also gets about 12-15 mpg. I have also topped it out at 169 mph.

Now, kindly take your books, class has ended.

What good comes from street racing? Sucking gas, putting wear on the car, endagering others, all so you can say, "HAH! I beatz j00!". Really. Take it to the track. I've street raced, just randomly two or three times. I'm not totally innocent. But I did that when I was dumb and 16 and had 90hp vehicle. Now I'm 18 and own a 227hp vehicle, and I never go at dangerous speeds, or street race.

Also, get you head out of your ass. Imports aren't always slow. Your just as annoying as someone saying, "V8s succcccckkk. VTEC!"

Well, I don't have pics of my car on me, because it's shedded at home in the 'scon (Wisconsin). But, I'll get them on here mid-May. Here are some engine shots, because that's what's on the way.

how come your going with the 1GGTE? availablity? price?

just curious

Well, I chose the 1g for a few reasons:
1. Availability: yah you guessed it, it's a little easier to get this one, because it's not typically swapped, but mass produced.
2. Price: yup, it's a little cheaper as well, because I'm not a millionaire. :D
3. Buildability: believe it or not, these engines are a little bit stronger in the block than your 2jz's and 7mg's. Which makes it easier for me to squeeze hp out of. Plus, due to it's displacement, it's a little bit lighter than the alternatives.

I was also thinking about dropping an RB20det into it, but I just decided to stick with the 1G when I read up on the rb, it's just a little more powerful.

360Rider do you think the racers put the spectators there???

All i was trying to say was that its f'd up to hope someone crash.
You race how you race i have no problem going to the track, but for some reason the street is more fun.

If you were only endangering yourself it would be great, thin out the gene pool, but your endangering other people doing that ****.
