I agree, one of my favorite things about GT is the real sim nature of it instead of arcade style. In my opinion, the addition of a drag race feature is a bit more arcade and being such it would be the only place I'd want to see nitrous used if at all.
Yeah I feel that drag racing is the only proper way to implement nitrous correctly anything else would be arcady.

Your a fool. You have no idea what i have used. I have used NOS (NOS and Venom), i have installed it, i have raced with it, i have raced guys that had it and thought they were the s.hit. but its really not what the "Movies" crack it up to be.

I'd be willing to bet that as soon as you saw "The Fast and the Furious" you went out and bought your first wet injection kit for your crappy "boat on wheels" (your mustang) and were ready to kill all thoes Civics and Integras that were kicking your ass on the streets. but come to find out, you still loose, cuz your car really isnt set up to truely handle NOS. So all your dreams of instant respect with the touch of a button were dashed.

Get real man, Turbo/Supercharger is the only way to go.

 Go back and look up the stats/info on my CURRENT car (03 Cobra), and see who's the fool in regards to your statements. You don't have a clue what you're talking about.

Agree w/ you on the nitrous only being used in drag racing. Completely disagree w/ you that adding drag racing seems arcady. Drag racing should be as much a sim as any other part of the game, imo.

Speaking of which, im really happy they decided to add drag racing. But so help me god if you can use n2o on a circuit track, im goin to light something on fire. Nitrous was meant for the strip. And, imo, thats where it needs to stay.

Now that I had a thought about nitrous in Gt4, wouldn't they need to implement a new button for it? And if they could, why not add a clutch button as well? I await your comments...

im gona assume that the NOS system in gt4 will be activated on the cars setup screen,
and will be up and running before u launch off...

Realistically, most people who use nitrous on the strip will run a window switch and throttle position sensor, but I would actually like to see the game require you to hit a button. Why? Because it opens up another variable for people to mess up. There's a right and a wrong way/time to spray an engine, and I'd love for poorly activated nitrous usage to have some sort of negative consequence. Meaning, the outcome of a drag race won't always be a given. Driver skill would come a bit more into play.

^ with R1 you change camera. It could be assigned to Up on the D-pad or something. Whatever ir is i hope its easy to reach on DFP
How about the L3 button. That'll be easy access to the nitrous button.

why do u think using nos is 'arcady' in racing? sure it is not realistic if you use it in a restricted class that bans using it but some people use like little 25 hp kits for racing some times for a little boost i read about it in a car mag

i highly doubt that they would allow the use of NOS in normal races... :yuck: dont worry about weird stuff like that.. it wont happen.
