not enough competitors / weak competition

Played a little last night for an hour or so & where has everyone gone? Last time i raced was on sunday night so it seems in the space of about a week lots of people have decided to stop driving. In the 5 races i did, 3 of those only had 4 drivers (including myself), one race had 7 & one had 10. Was pretty disappointing having those small grids & little GTP drivers. Seems everyone is just fed up with the current events. Hopefully the update at the end of the month will bring more competitors back.
 
i have raced the subaru, mitsu.... lancer a few times and i quit like it, had a full grid last night and great fun it was! close racing as it should be, won a few screwd some up, but had a good time.

i hope that when theyre updating the events they will add something like this again...

i did the lancer vs imprezza event last week a few times but the quality of the drivers is very poor.

i like the lower pp aswell. imo the have to make each event twice low and high pp so you can choose. and both on expert level, otherwise you've got the same creapy races like the lancer vs imprezza events now.

btw new online events wil be up-date on the 30th october.

= very close, intense racing with very little punting or even accidental bumping. It's very hard to achieve the same close racing in the higher PPs.

I'm just tired of racing the same tracks over & over again - time for something new. I would invite more GTPers to give Ferrari Challenge a try online while we wait for new content from PD.

i have the game since July and you were right guys.. even though i havent experienced the low pp events (sadly) the 600pp Suzuka was something awesome!! Another were GTR, F40 and Z06 on HSR and Fuji
I dont like those super high pp events but the biggest problem are those R1-3 tyres!!
sorry for off top but watching this makes me wanna cry :D

Well I do like the High PP events, but I also like the low PP events...it gives you the flexability to Drive more car's in online Racing.;) I like to mix things up a bit to, would be great to have a 550PP event, where we can use more stock performacne cars like the NSX and GT-R etc, maybe at Eiger!:dopey:👍
I wouldn't normally suggest this as it could end up being a 'smash up' event, but the quality of online events racign has really picked up over the last few months for me.;)
