EDIT: Iron is the most common element by mass. That doens't necessarily mean it has the most moles of any other element. Wait, Wikipedia says it's the second most common by mass, at "34.6%", though I'll just say "around 35%".

Then, in the Iron article they say "Iron is the most abundant metal on Earth, and is believed to be the tenth most abundant element in the universe. Iron is also the second most abundant (by mass, 34.6%) element making up the Earth..."
