Finally got my car to the track today for opening weekend. It was just a test & tune, and the weather wasnt that great, and as you can see not many people were there lol. My best run was 12.99 @ 108.11. I'm soo happy to break 12's even if it is BARELY 12's lol. I was running open exhaust as you can hear. Good old V6 sound :grumpy:

Unfortunately I didnt get my 12.9 run on video, but I did get one of a 13.09 @ 107 pass. My old man was filming, and he didnt know how to use the zoom or anything lol. :) Forgot to mention this is on all season street tires and front wheel drive of course.

 
Heh, sounds like a '92 season BGN car! Or any V6 Stock Car, really.

Like I've said, before, that is one mean GP
 
Very nice. Where's the blower whine though?

I got a '97 GTP myself, with headers, Borla exhaust, 3.4 pulley, SLP roller rockers, PCM and CAI. Never been to the track but I estimate it could run 13.5-13.8 range.

Cool, nice to see another GP owner on here. You on clubgp? You cant hear the blower whine because the exhaust is so loud. With the cat-back hooked up, she screams pretty good. :scared:
 
Ah, makes sense.

I'm on clubgp, but rarely post anymore. Mainly I just look through the OT section. I stopped modding a couple years ago, the car is fast enough for me and I'd rather save for an apartment now. Plus the car is 12 years old now and looks it, (scratches, rust) but it still runs great.
 
That is an impressive time for FWD and normal tyres, well done mate.👍

Nice, definately makes a good solid mean noise. I like it. Is that the coupe? Plus that nasty wind cost you some tenths. :(
