I wonder how many times people here will have to be told that?

3 hundred billion fking times, but they are too god damn stupid to understand the simple logic that the fact that they drove them does not mean they are in. They seem to think PD are above the law.

If they are in, nice, if not, oh well.

Agreed.

GT4 is not all about racing Ferraris. Want a game like that, play OutRun2.
Want Porsches, play Porsche Unleased.

GT4 had been done great without them.

Somehow your correct, but to make this game even greater than it is, they should add Ferrari and Porsche, but the margin is very small. :indiff:

Yep, GT will be better with thoes cars but it won't be at all bad without them. I disagree that if you want thoes cars so bad go and play other games because so far GT is THE game everyone here plays and provides in most cases the most enjoyment. If you want thoes cars so bad just be patient and someday GT will feature them.

I don't think there will be any confirmations of them either, because I don't think they're in.

No words from the GT4-owners about this two manufactorers?
Kaz stated a few weeks ago in a magazine interview that the Ferrari issue was dead, yet again. He stated the same thing about Porsche at a game expo in Japan a few months ago.

Plus, nobody with GT4 have come out stating that they were in, which they would have shouted for all to hear by now.

When they not in the game, i am surprised, why these cars are at the GT4-Prologue-DVD?
Thats not right for me!!!
It's known that the cars were tested and even modeled for the game, but Polyphony has no license to use them, so they were not allowed to put them in.

Mr Chaos
In an interview Kazunori Yamauchi President of Polyphony Digital, vice president of Sony Computer Entertainment and creator of the GT series of games said that Ferrari and Porsche will not be included in GT4. Which seems pretty official to me.

:sly: He actually said that way back at E3 this year. A LOT of time has passed between then and now for things to change. And hopefully, they have (for the best). :sly:

My personal belief is that Ferrari and Porsche would be such a massive selling point for the game, that if they were in the game, PD would be shouting about it from the rooftops (as they have done with nurnburgring). $ makes the world go around and selling copies is #1 target for PD bosses.

Also, there has been no mention of Ferrari or Porsche names on either official JP, USA or UK GT4 sites.

Another little thing, if you had a porka in RL, you would probably take it to RUF to be tuned! ;)

Because as I and many others on this site kept saying that footage was of a staff day out, nothing more. People here had trouble accepting the fact that sometime PD will be testing and driving cars that don't appear in the GT games. They arn't in GT4 as far as I'm concered, we'd know by now and as said before KY would've made sure they were noticed to help sales.

We all pretty much know Porsche and Ferrari are out, but what about Lambo's? I know they've had trouble with their licenses, but i thought EA lost it's license to Lamborghini.

My,My wouldn't that be a nice suprise. Lets hope PD have negotiated licensing issues with the holders of the Lambo license. :nervous:

:sly: My gut feeling's telling me that Lamborghini's in GT4 (and it's nice to trust the gut feeling of a guy who loves his gut and the junk that gets stuffed in there). They may not generate the type of "oomph" that Ferrari and Porsche do (quite a shame, IMHO), but they are still a highly coveted license, and for sure PD must have an easier time with them than say Ferrari or Porsche. Also, let's not forget that Lamborghini WAS in GT3 (just the Japanese version, though), and that Audi owns Lamborghini. And since Audi will more than likely be in GT4, that gives me more than enough hope that Lamborghini will be in as well. :sly:

Only Lamborghini isn't in according all the car lists from Sony and screens of all the manufacturers. The closest thing is the Cizeta Moroder V16T which resembles a Diablo.

We have seen Ferraris and Porsches on the Bonus-DVD-"PAL"-Version of GT4-Prologue, right?

I think, the only chance that they are in the game is the "PAL"-Version of GT4!

Japanese lambo in the japanese version of GT3.

European exotic in the european version of GT4.

Er, no I don't think they could put Ferrari and Porsche on the Pal version of the game. The Nomad Diablo is a very different situation and shouldn't have been in the Japanese GT3, it was too late before Lamborghini took action though and the Japanese copies had been distributed. PD would still need a license from Ferrari to put Ferrari's in GT4, if they had that license they would be in all regions.

Yeah, we have (but not me :guilty: ) but that still doesn't confirm the big three to be in GT4.
Car testing is one thing, but releasing a rendered model/s to the public with a copyright license is another thing.
