You probably got a bad iso or a bad burn. Try again with another copy

pacth the iso file with service pack 1, theres a way to make a integrated iso file for xppro, i had to do that with my *ahem* legal copy *ahem*, i got missing files before that too

You know SF, this whole Windows Setup ordeal is probably being caused by a bad burn. Ask your friend to get you a new copy.

I have. I bought XP Pro but I didnt pay full price. I got it through my dads fiance(sp?) from a local college she attended(now works for). It only costed me $20.

Well, that problem turned out to be my hd. In case anyone is wondering, the cd is somewhat legal. The guy i got it from payed $30 to make a copy, SO THERE!

Anyway, now im just having trouble with this hd i swapped in. Im's are welcome.

Ok how does this sound, the guy bought it for $30 and made copies for backup. There.

This new HD gives me problems too, but i know what im going to do.

Step 1ick up pc.
Step 2:Walk to closest window.
Step 3:Throw out the window.
Step 4:Run out and see if it works then.

Ok we got it all figured out now. I called up Frys and they are going to do an even exchange so after allt hat it should be fine, hopefully. What i dont get is why my hd takes so long to detect, and when i bluescreened it didnt show up at all. Oh well, maybe that will stop with the new ram. Thankies guys!
