He gets paid to do stuff like that. It's something you shouldn't stop doing. The more of this stuff you do the more you learn, the more money you make.

I like it. Have you ever used corel painter to make any of these?

Giancarlo: do you mean remixing my RX-7 or vector art? Because graphic arts is my profession, but not day job, and I think my newest RX-7 art came out very well, save for the wheels, and I like to mess with it. You obviously like it, you have 2 of my RX-7s in that av I made, also vector.
I just figured you guys would like a wallpaper, you all seem to respond well to my work, so why not make more exclusively for this board?

Thanks omicron. And I only use PSP. Not the professionals general choice, but I like it.

Making commissioned work doesnt exactly pay the bills, you know? It just buys me shiny gadgets.

Look above. I used a tablet.
Plus, Ive been drawing/doodling since I was a wee lad, I love to draw with a pencil.
My father is also a locally respected professional oil/acrylics painter who does work for casinoes, LV residents, etc. He does portraiture and murals.
And uh, every male in my dads side of the family was some sort of professionally paid artist, so its only right for me to do the same.

Sorry for the family story, but I thought it was relevant

It pays really well, I get hundreds of dollars for one advertisement, but I dont get them daily. I get atleast 2 a month. And I do work from home, and the majority of graphic artists work from home. I work with a group of other local artists, not some large graphic arts corporation.
So uh, opportunity for you? What do you do? Got a link?
